Looked and looked for a comfortable but nice looking walking sandal in a 10N. This shoe was perfect for me. Not one minute of break in time and did days and days of sightseeing. The leather is beautiful and buttons are a nice touch. My feet love Zappos!

Not only are these shoes stylish, but they are extremely comfortable. I feel that they run true to size and width. So glad that I ordered them. You cannot beat Zappos' return policy and quick delivery!

I absolutely love these sandals! I need shoes with soft cushiony shoes and these totally are! The day after I received them, I took them on a vacation that I did a lot of walking and standing. These sandals were so comfortable even after hours of being on my feet. Only one thing I wish was different- because I have narrow heals, I wish the back strap was shorter.

Comfortable to walk in around my house but the size 5 felt like a 6 way too big with not enough Velcro on the back strap to make the shoe fit securely around my heels so I was stepping out of them.

Perfect!! I have a short and very wide foot. Have much difficulty finding any shoe to fit! Zappos only place I can buy shoes! This sandal very comfortable and true to size. Highly recommended! Thanks Zappos!

I got these shoes one day before I left to attend a five day conference in a huge convention center. I never walked so much in five days, but wore these sandals every day. They are not as “pretty” as some other sandals, but I had no plantar fasciitis pain, so well worth it.

I bought these shoes based on the reviews I read. Unfortunately, they did not work for me and I sent them back.

I have been looking for a sandal with a removable footbed so I can use the custom orthotics I must wear. These look nice - although I wish they came in a tan/nude color. But when I wore them around my living room for half a day, the back strap began to chafe. Nice sandal otherwise - manufacturer should put padding/soft material on the back strap, like they did for the Katy, which I am buying instead.

Saved my vacation. No break in time. I needed a comfortable sandal for a cruise to an island where I would be walking a lot. I really wasn’t sure about the style, as this is normally not my style, but it is hard to find a cute AND comfortable shoe. I didn’t seem to have a lot of options in my local stores, but I tried this one. It felt comfortable, so I ordered the pewter from Zappos. At the last minute, I decided to take them, and glad I did. They really don’t look like an orthotic and I could walk all day in them. In my mid 50’s and in fairly good shape, but feet get sore during the day (especially the sides of my feet). They really did not in these. I Love cute shoes, so this was a hard decision, but I am glad that I had these, and I am sure they will get a lot of use as an everyday sandal when I need to walk a lot. ??

I tried this style in two sizes, 8 and 9. Neither one felt just right, as the arch support seems to be incorrectly placed, too far back toward the heel. I have never had this problem before and will keep searching for that "just right" versatile black comfort sandal.

I have sensitive feet and need good arch support and a sole with cushioning. These work. I have not yet tried walking all day in them but they've been good for a few hours at a time so far. (If a shoe is going to be trouble I know within 30 minutes usually.) Glad I discovered this brand.

This is a nice shoe. However the footbed is not as supportive as previous Aravon shoes I have owned - it's too squishy for me. And it does not have any arch support.

Love the looks of this shoe, but size 9 was way too big for my narrow foot & size 8 would be too small. Too bad it doesn't come in half sizes.

Very comfortable right out of the box. Would prefer leather footbed. I normally wear a 5 1/2 wide in a sandal, but ordered these in a 5 WW and they fit well.

Attractive shoe; although somewhat clunky looking. I wear an 11N; however the narrow was too wide. Quality and support appeared good. Probably would have been a good everyday sandal if it fit.

I am a little in love with this sandal. I purchased them for a warm weather walking vacation. I have a wide toe box and a slimmer heel, and these fit perfectly. On a scale of 1 to 10, the cushioning is about a 5, and has seemed to hold up well so far. The leather is a bit stiff, but I think that may change with more wear.

Ordered a 9N hoping that with 3 points of velcro closure, this sandal would fit snugly on my narrow, slim foot. Length was fine, but the Narrow foot bed was so wide that it looked like an ample Medium. The front area near the toes was so wide and rounded that it created the cartoonish look of a clown shoe. Back they went.

As soon as I tried them on, the inside of the toe strap started rubbing my foot.

I've decided that that I really don't like the looks of the sandal although they are comfortable.

Like another review I love the style and comfort of this shoe but,the insole is horrible. I think possibly the worst I have ever had. I have two pair of these and in great shape but the insole is hot and feet are sweaty. I will not buy more Aravon until this problem is corrected.

I purchased these as I was looking for a walking sandal that could handle cobblestones and dirt. I am sure they would, but unfortunately the side metal D-ring which holds the back ankle strap right away started digging into the side of my foot. They are being returned. The soles are wonderful and felt really good to walk in. I have a narrow foot, but the style is too clunky for me and makes my feet look large, in a Birkenstock chunky way. Not a sandal for a dress or going out in the evening.

I thought it was just me until reading the newest review! I've had these sandals for a few years now and loved their look and comfort, but God do they smell! Even though they still look new I came to the site to buy another pair, but now I'm not sure. I've never had a pair of sandals smell so bad no matter how many years I've worn them! It must be the materials used in the footbed...

I love these sandals, but after 2 years, the metal ring on the back strap broke. I guess for this price point, I expected them to last a little longer. I won't buy this brand again.

Aravon Candace in Ivory is a darker cream than I expected. Ordered a 10M and it's very wide, and when I look down it appears very rounded. There is a cushiony inner sole that is quite nice. No traction. Sending back since I'll fall in these even though they are essentially flat.
