Bought this a week ago..returning. The soles are too slick I'm over 60 and I could fall with on.

I have a pair of these I have been wearing for several years but the ones I ordered now are narrower in the toe box and wider in the heel. Also the leather seems poorer in quality than the ones I have.

This shoe is comfortable right out of the box. However, I would like the navy to be a tad bit darker.

Aravon shoes are very comfortable, but they need some new styles and colors

The quality of this shoe is excellent and the leather is soft. What I expect of Aravon.
I will say though that the "wide" is very wide and loose even on my wide foot. I will keep however and save for winter when I can wear heavy socks.

I think it's a good shoe for what it is. I have spent more time looking for shoes than nearly anything else because of the width I need. My foot is wide at the bone and it usually requires at least a wide, but usually a WW. Thank goodness for Zappos for carrying these wide widths. However, there is a limit simply because the manufacturers only produce a small variety of styles in the wide widths. And some seem to think what they look like is of no concern. I have been looking for a good black leather shoe for work to wear with pants. For many years I was successful with Munro shoes but I have been disappointed in their choices the last few years. So I tried the Aravon Faith because comfort and quality is important as well. I like the shoe but not for my current purpose. They are a bit more chunky and casual than they appeared to me online. They also slipped at my heel a bit. Unfortunately I am returning them and the quest continues. (I am going to try a Trotters shoe next.) Again, thank you Zappos for making the return process flawless. I have been shopping with Zappos for many years and have nothing but praise for their customer service.

After my bunion grew and I had to move from a W to a WW, I was afraid I’d never fit into a shoe comfortably again. This was the fourth attempt to find a comfy black shoe (thank you for free shipping, Zappos!) and it felt like stepping into slippers. Although quite expensive, it fit well and looks built well enough to last a while. It’s a little boring looking on top, and does nothing to make my huge feet look smaller, but at this point, comfort is what it’s all about!

I have a very long and very narrow foot, which is a nightmare when finding shoes. I ordered the 12N and they fit like a dream. Clark brand ( my past go-to), have been making their shoes a tad smaller and so I haven't been able to wear them. This might become my new brand of shoes. I'm on my feet a lot at work and they are very comfortable. The black leather is nice.

These shoes felt wonderful: butter smooth leather, comfortable toe box, and moderate arch support. I love the way they look, not as clunky as some of my other go-to wide width brands. But the heel is too loose and for that reason, I’m reluctantly returning them. So close to perfect!

I had to trade these in for a size smaller to keep them from slipping in the heel. I wear a WW, and they are very comfortable in the toes. They have good support and Work as an everyday shoe. I wish they were just a bit dressier, but I was looking for a comfortable shoe to wear with dress slacks, and they fit the bill nicely. They compare to Munro and SAS for those of us with wide feet, but are a bit less expensive.

Bought this to replace the last pair of Aravon shoes I owned. The sole fell apart suddenly, after 13 years. The upper was still almost as good as new. A bit disappointed in the changes Aravon made. The leather is not as sturdy and the lining is no longer leather, and the heel top is not as cushioned, and is a wee bit too big (I have narrow heels). However, other than the very slight slipping in the heel, they fit my feet perfectly and need no breaking in. I like Aravon shoes so much I splurged and bought 2 other pairs. I can't seem to find other shoes that fit as well. With the change in materials, I hope they last as long as the first pair. That will make me a very happy camper.

Finally a stylish work shoe that is comfortable and affordable. I bought and returned 5 different shoes varying in price from $75 - 175 and only had them a week and will order a 2nd backup pair as I wear shoes out quickly.

I have huge feet and I have a lot of foot problems with arthritis and neuropathy. That makes finding shoes that fit and feel good a double threat. I usually just stick to athletic shoes because of the comfort level. But I was sick of athletic shoes so I ordered these in my usual huge size 13 wide. I couldn't believe how freaking huge they were! WAY too big! But knowing they are made by New Balance I was confused: I knew that New Balance size 12 wide was too small. So I reordered in size 12 2x wide. Nope. It was just a little too wide but wide enough so that my feet would slip forward to the toe and they would go up and down like flip flops. I am grateful to Zappos for carrying shoes for my enormous feet. But this business of ordering shoes online is very very frustrating. There needs to be a way of measuring your feet at home for each shoe company. Because there IS a difference. Do that Zappos and you will save us all time and money including yourselves. I am giving up on these shoes. After I saw them I didn't like the way they looked anyway but they WERE comfortable.

Nice comfortable shoe. I did not expect it to fit, but it is just right for my long, narrow foot. It is also tall enough to accomodate my insert.

I was so excited when I was able to wear these shoes without having to use my own arch support insoles. They do come with removable insoles but the ones that come with the shoes are very good. They're the only shoes I've found so far that I can say that. I have plantar fasciitis so I'm always searching for shoes with good arch support that look nice too. I'm not a fan of the bronze color. I would have preferred brown.

These shoes are very comfy except that I have a high arch, and after wearing them around the house for a day, they really hurt across the top of my feet. Had to return.

Super comfy shoe out of the box... not the most attractive shoe ever (hence the 4 stars) but are well made and run true to size and important with narrow shoes! AM considering purchasing second pair.

I wear 7AA shoes and have had bunion surgery on both feet. The bunion has returned on one foot so finding shoes with narrow heels and comfortable toes can be very challenging. I have worn Munro shoes for years but recently cannot find any styles that fit correctly. I just tried these Aravon Faith shoes and they are wonderful. I was able to wear them right out of the box. I wish they came in brown. I will definitely be trying other Aravon styles.

This is generally a good shoe. I've worn them several times now. They've been comfortable every time except the first time, when they gave me a blister. Since then, they've been comfortable, but they did rub painfully the first day.

Nice looking shoe and made by New Balance, but the sizing is different. The same size I would order from NB runs bigger in Aravon.

This shoe was a little large all around. I could not prevent my heelsl from slipping our of the shoes, which also rubbed my heels. I have been pleased Aravon's shoes in the past because they were stylish and used to fit my narrow foot so well, and were immediately comfortable when I put them on. More recently the shoes have begun to look rather clunky--the toe box is rounded almost like a child's shoe might be. I feel like I look like a duck when they are on my feet. I hope this company--and many others--will at least go back to tapering the the toe boxes a bit more.

I wear a size 13 as in sneakers and a size 12 aa in flats. I bought a pair of shoes in size 13 aa so the shoes were too big. (This was my fault - I punched the wrong button). I am returning the shoes. I would love to get the shoes in a 12aa. If you have another pair in a 12 aa, I will gladly buy them.
