I just have to say I called customer service because I have never ordered anything online before and the gentleman I spoke with was pleasant, friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. When I opened the box, I was impressed with the presentation. Open the box, was happily surprised the shoes were even nicer than I had expected. Tried them on and not only were they pretty, they were comfortable too! Very happy all around. I will use Zappos again and again.

What an amazing company! I ordered two pair of shoes in two different sizes. The first one I pulled out and tried, accommodated my inserts perfectly and fit like a glove...so the other went back untouched. Such a smooth transaction and all the service members were wonderful. Am now a loyal customer!

So happy to find a shoe that is wide enough to be comfortable to stand in for hours at work, unfortunately they did add any room to the strap and the Velcro on it does not go far enough to accommodate my foot and looks stupid because it won't lay flat. Really bummed that I will have to send these back.

I'm very disappointed that this cute and comfy shoe doesn't fit: I have a high instep and the ankle strap of the shoe just barely overlaps leaving a lot of exposed velcro -- not a good look. But for that I would have loved wearing this shoe.

A friend of my give me a pair of those in black as a gift for my birthday and feels so great my feet are wide and I feel very comfortable with dress, pantsuits or jeans I can go on for all day.

This Aravan Maya is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn! The shoe is Wide and accommodates a severe bunion, yet it is very stylish. I have received numerous compliments on the shoe. I look forward to acquiring more!

This is a very comfortable shoe that looks good with pants and skirts…the toe box is wide and deep and it has good arch support.

This is a low-heeled, round-toed dress shoe. It's a very cute example of the genre. If you don't like round toes, you won't like this shoe. Super comfy. Aravon shoes run wide. I've been a 9WW for 8 years. My last Aravon was too big, so I bought a 9W this time. It fits, although it seems a bit short.

These are the most comfortable dress shoes I have ever worn! I have a wide foot with a narrow heel and the strap is essential in keeping it on my foot! I wish they'd make it in white--I'd get 2 pairs...

I love the shoe. Plenty of room in the toe box. I wore right out of the box without socks. I should have worn peds. I got one little blister on the back of my right heel, so that was my fault. I still give this shoe a 5 star for comfort.

These shoes were very comfortable with the wide toe box - something that is hard to find. They are well constructed and still a little stiff but I expect to get years of use from the. Definitely worth the money.

I already received the smaller size shoes and they fit fabulously! I have always worn a size 10 but these definitely run very big, as the size 9 fits perfectly in length. Also, the width is very generous. I have very wide feet and the WW even has a bit of extra room, but since I will be wearing these with some cotton skirts in the summer I am counting on my feet swelling. The material is high quality, beautiful color, much prettier bronze color than pictured. I only wore them in the house, but they are the most comfortable out of the box shoes that I ever put on! I want the black but they are out of stock.

Really wanted to love this shoe and the bronze color is beautiful, and the shoe feels so comfy out of the box but it is an entire size too long...going to try and order one size smaller. They are really good looking and great quality shoes.

I ordered both this shoe and the Naot Footwear Kirei so I can wear something dressier than my athletic shoes to church. The prices of higher-end orthotics-friendly shoes is such that I can only afford one dress pair, and I ended up choosing the Aravon Maya Pump because it is a bit more dressy. It has a very roomy toe box as well. I wear a 6M in dress shoes and find that a 36 fits me in Pikolino shoes, so I took the chance and ordered 36 in the Maya. The fit is just what I am accustomed to in dress shoes. Maybe a bit of gap along the side of the foot, but that's being nit-picky. I have very high arches (cavus pes) plus a host of problems in my right foot--plantar fasciatis, neuromas, capsilitis, and lots of ball of foot pain. I was able to fit my custom orthotics in these shoes, but found the standard insole is quite comfortable for the two hours a week I wear these. My arch support rating is moot because there isn't a shoe made (so far as I know) that comes with high enough supports for my "complicated foot" (my podiatrist's term) but I imagine it's more than ample for most folks.

I love these shoes. They are cute, not 'old lady' despite being 'comfort shoes' and couldn't be more comfortable. I wore them on a business trip to San Francisco with lots of walking and they were a dream. I recommend!

I have the hardest time finding comfortable shoes that fit well - any kind of shoe - especially dress shoes. These aren't super dressy or elegant, but they are dressy enough and very comfortable. I needed a shoe I could dance in - and this is it!

Finally found a shoe that's attractive & easy on my knees. These have the perfect heel height, & I include my other 2 pairs of Aravons with that. I will always order these. Keep the pretty ones coming!

I really like these and they seem very comfortable just like the others of this same brand, but, I may be returning them. I don't care for the large opening from just past the toes with just a strap at the ankle. They do run a little roomy but that can be fixed with an extra insole.

Too big in the heel, even with inserts and trying to get a 5.5 in any make is just a pain as Zappos never seems to have any in black. Too bad for this shoe because I really liked it, otherwise and seemed like a perfect shoe for travel.

Maya fits my feet and my needs. I have advanced Parkinson disease with dystonia, plantar fascia, hammertoe, Morton's neuroma & bunions...so shoes must accommodate custom orthotics. And, I'm Finnish...which means that my forefoot is wide. My instep is high. My regular ankles do not need mile-long straps. Maya is one of the few shoes that suits that need. It's tough to find shoes that fit! Please, Aravon, make these shoes in brushed silver which looks good with my white hair. Perforated leather would provide air circulation in 92 degree weather for 8 months a year. The sole of my Maya shoes don't stick and trip like those sure grip shoes that are sending my friends tumbling onto concrete. The higher heel is a clunky cute Minnie Mouse style that works with my orthotics. I can usually wear them for 4-5 hours; so, that ain't bad! 93,000 retired people (55 years plus) live here in 92 degree weather for 9 months a year. We dance most nights to live music at our three Squares (when our feet don't hurt). Zappos and Aravon can make it possible for us dance in comfort more nights a week to James Brown's I feel good!

Right out of the box, my feet said yes. They are comfortable, enough of a heel to be elevated and looks like my shoes so long ago when I was a girl.

I have alot of difficulty finding a closed toe dress type shoe with the brace I need to wear on my foot. I ordered these Maya's in a wide and they fit and look great. I ordered another pair in the brown/bronze. I love them and they are very comfortable. Thanks Zappos for providing a great variety of shoes to fit all types of feet, and thanks for your fabulous service!

These are the best shoes ever. I am a college instructor with bad feet, and I wore them for the first time on the first day of the semester, after four weeks of blissful holiday break for my feet to get out of practice standing on hard floors for hours and hours. Usually even with comfortable, broken-in shoes my feet are hurting after the first day back. Though these were brand-new, I wore them for seven hours with no pain. I had taken another pair to change into, but never needed to. They are just amazing! I have bunions and arthritis and achy toes and still there was no pain with these shoes. Additionally they are fashionable! Colleagues were stopping me in the halls to ask about my shoes, which gave me a chance to sing Zappos praises! Arayvon, if you are reading this, keep up the good work. Never stop making these shoes!

This is my go-to shoe pair of shoes for just about everything. They are very comfortable and look nice with work clothes. If I need to run an errand at lunch I can walk any distance in them and my feet feel great. I've enjoyed similar styles in brands such as Keene and Dansko in the past but found that the manufacturing quality diminished after they became popular. So far this is not the case with Aravon. I've just purchased on my third pair now and the quality has remained consistent with the first pair I purchased over 3 years ago.

I bought these for my mom, along with some other similar shoes. She liked the velcro strap but the strap was a little high for her. Of the three pairs we purchased these were her second favorite.
