I love the style of these shoes and was excited to get them for work to wear with jeans and slacks. However, the first time I wore them the back cut into my heel very badly so I have to return them. This is the first pair of Cole Haans that I've had that have given me problems.

I bought both the light brown and black versions. I love the brown ones which are very soft leather and have held up nicely. The black ones, however, are not the same nice leather quality. They are a textured leather which is not as nice. Also, the stitching on the black ones has let go and they are now going to a shoe repair company. This should not happen with shoes at this price!

Uncomfortable - I really liked how these shoes looked; however, they rubbed my heel after an hour or two. I ended up returning for the Ecco Soft Moc, which are very comfortable. Please note that the Ecco Soft Moc’s are very shinny in the online pictures, as such, they look better in person.

OUCH! These shoes are fairly stylish, built well, and last well. There is, however, a huge design flaw (at least on the pair I purchased). The heel is so rigid that it TORE apart the skin on my Achilles tendon. Not only did they rub my skin raw, they left me with ultra sore tendons after wearing them. In truth, they got somewhat better over time, but still I'd stay clear. The Cole Haan Nike Air loafers are far and away more comfortable.

too big

I have this shoes when it first came out. The one i received from Zappos is of different maker (actual production) than the one I have purchase before. The bottom is different as well as the side where there is streching portion. The front part of the underlaying is different and does not protect the front toe part. Overall, it is a narrower design. I have not worned it yet...will most likely return it. At the moment, I am busy and out of town to deal with return.

This shoe was my first choice - the color, style, price, etc. The shoe material is quite stiff, the size was not a good fit for me (width was not available).

You sent me the wrong size but i can make it work. I ordered 9 but you sent 9.5

Nice looking shoes but they just don't fit me. I initially ordered size 14, which is my usual size; they were too big so I returned them and ordered size 13. They were too small so I returned them also. Maybe if a half-size was available that would have solved the problem - but I bought some SAS brand shoes in a similar style (more expensive but, for me, perfect fit!). One unfortunate characteristic of these shoes is that the toe box seems rather cramped, so if your toes (like mine) are too large they will pinch.

I've been wearing Tuckers for well over 10-years. Tuckers have been my favorite grab & go shoes....mostly w/jeans. This version has to be the cheapest I've ever owned. I actually got out my dial calipers to check the material in the tongue as it felt flimsy and sure enough it was 2mm thinner than my current "old pair". The leather is now pebble and not smooth and the shape of the shoe in the toe area has changed and is now very boxy or "square" instead of nice rounded contour of the older model. Good news is they are still comfortable...but went from looking cool to feeling kinda cheap and looking like old man shoes :( I just bought a pair of Allen Edmonds Boulders and they feel much better made....cost only more but I think worth it.

Not the same shoe as a real Cole Hahn. Different leather. Knock off?

The quality of this Cole Haan style is nothing compared to what it was 3 years ago. These are made in India and the lining and sock are poor quality. I order 2 pair and the Black were at least a full 1/2 size bigger than the Brown. Go figure.

Bad design. I have another Cole Haan loafer I've worn for several years. Same size (8 Medium) that I ordered. The Cole Haan Tucker Venetian is not cut the same.

I have a similar par of Cole Haans' in brown, size 10.5 D, and liked them so much, I ordered a pair in black - same size. I received the black pair and they were too big. So, I returned then and order another pair in size 10 D; too big. I am now returning those and ordering a 9.5 D. We'll see.

Ordered my reg size of 15 m. Shoe was to large. Exchanged for a 14 m. Shoe was good but much too narrow.

I bought these to replace my old cole haan nike air shoes. Despite relatively good fit, this was one of the most uncomfortable loafers that need a good amount of time to break in. Bring the cole haan nike shoes back!

My husband ordered these and found them to be uncomfortable. The soles are very thin and there is very little support. They also ran a bit small. He returned the shoe.

The 'leather' feels cheap and stiff. These are not the quality I expect from Cole Hahn. I owned a pair from Tommy Bahama that were significantly higher quality.

So the shoes seem like they should be a solid choice for the price. Decent style and decent comfort. But they squeak. Walking down the hall in the office, it sounds like a dog chewing on a squeeze toy. It drives me nuts. Maybe I got just unlucky or something, but I had to order new shoes despite these still being basically new.

I have had 8 pairs, okay, so I generally LOVE these shoes. But the last TWO PAIRS that I bought came with an obnoxious squeak in the sole that never went away. I may give this brand and style one more try, just because the return policy is so fantastic at Zappos, but I would be very sad if I had to give up on these because of squeakiness.

They look very plain and pedestrian, with an overly round front end. More importantly, they feel like crap. They have no ventilation, so my feet end up feeling sweaty and the black dye rubs off through my socks and onto my heels. I frequently have to take them off when I sit at my desk.

Beautiful shoe. It just is not comfortable. The very rigid leather hurts my Achilles and the top of my foot. I will try to break it in, but my feet are getting pretty irritated and sore after just one day.
