Most comfortable shoe ever. I got so many compliments on this shoe, I had to buy a second pair! Many people asked where I got them from.

I bought this boot to wear with skinny jeans and socks for cooler weather but was disappointed in how this boot felt. I know I have a very narrow heel, but I have other shoes/boots that fit me, so it wasn't just me! Only seconds after I tried this boot on, the back of my heel had turned pink/red. I felt the boot rubbing against my heel. There was some "play" in the ankle area but there also seemed to be some sort of an issue with how the boot was made in the ankle area; it was hard and did not conform to my heel.

Quality is great. The heel was too wide (ordered narrow width). Toe box was fine. Wanted to exchange for (slim width) in same color (red) but they do not carry the color in that width. Too bad. Wanted something funky and for walking in the winter months. Each shoe last is different. Once you find a style you like and fits correctly, then you can keep purchasing. My favorite is FT Mesh walking shoe, it comes in Red! Would like that in more colors (lime green, orange etc.). Fits perfect for a 10.5 narrow. Have been wearing SAS shoes for many years.

Ordered a narrow and it was way too wide especially in the heel. Even allowing for a fat sock for winter, it was not close.

I have an injured foot and have relyed on SAS for years to provide the best wear available for my feet. The sales people I've worked with have been exceptional, and I have only gratitude for their patience and care. However, I am quite disappointed in these boots. I wore them around the house to make sure they were comfortable before I kept them. However, wearing them outside was the true test and they failed for me. My biggest complaint is the soles. If you wear these around any gravel, the soles are designed so that the gravel gets caught in the small grooves and it is very difficult to get it out unless you want to walk around on gravel all day. The tongues are stiff and don't lay gently against the front of my ankle like my previous boots did. My old boots were much softer inside and allowed a softer, padded sock to make them even more comfortable.(Also, in case you are wondering why I didn't just buy another pair like those, they are no longer made.) I realize I have certain needs in my shoes and these "problems" may not affect others the way they do me. But I couldn't have predicted these issues before wearing these boots outside and now I'm stuck with them.

I love these boots, however there is a problem with the left boot. I called and they gave me some very nice lip service suggesting that is is my foot that caused the bump in the side of the shoe. Ridiculous, as I don't have bunions. I feel that this should have been caught in final inspection.
