My son wanted to love this shoe especially since he has another pair of vans that he loves and wears daily. However, the stitching where the tongue is attached to the shoe is bulky and rubs the top of his foot. Going up half a size didn’t help.

Great look, just did not hold up well. Shoe was poorly constructed and fell apart over a short period of use.

Why there’s no pull tab on these is beyond me. I love the style but they are so difficult to get on my feet. Unfortunately I don’t wear them as much as I’d like because it’s such a struggle to get them on.

These shoes are absolutely gorgeous but extremely uncomfortable. There is no way one could walk around them for extended periods of time.

The picture is a little misleading it looks like grey but its blue. Its comfortable and overall a really good shoe.

I really love the style of the shoes, BUT that's the only thing I like about these shoes. I am a woman with a size 13W (wide) foot so you can imagine I have a hard time finding good shoes that look good AND fit. And these shoes did turn up in my filtered choices and these came in 13 width medium in women's and men's 11.5. I thought maybe since its also in men's maybe it will be just a little bit bigger and fit since it popped up in my filtered search... afraid not. So as much as I love these shoes my feet don't and I have no choice but to return them and shop for the appropriate shoes that's best for my feet. So if I have one suggestion it will be to remove these shoes from the WIDE section and put them in the MEDIUM section please.

Look great/fit poor. I'm an average size 10. These were 1/2 size small and narrow. They look awesome, but between the fit and absolutely zero arch support, they're going back.

I love the Vans brand. I think their low cut shoes are iconic, but these particular shoes hurt to wear and came short in comparison to other Vans models. They are incredibly stuffy but okay to skate in themselves. I would stray away from them unless you have REALLY narrow or small feet.

The upper material didn't seem like leather so I had to return.

So stiff. I'm not convinced that upper material is real leather so I'm returning.

can't wear these shoes. waste of money. I come home aching from my feet throughout my back. Absolutely NO arch support.

I really wanted these shoes to work in red because I love my leather Hightop Vans. The suede is a more stiff fit and not nearly as comfortable. One day I hope Vans will make a red leather Sk8 reissue.

Holy cow these feel like knockoff vans! They are sooooo cheaply made & flimsy. The threads are already loose. I don't know if this is ALL sk8-hi's now or just the all-canvas version but it's seriously like wearing chucks with a thicker sole. Gotta send them back, I buy these for stability and these aren't stable.

These have no support whatsoever and I could feel everything I stepped on through the shoes. I had blisters on both heels within 10 mins of walking around. But they look good.

These are disappointing. There is no real ankle support for a high top. Also, poor heel and arch support. Tread lightly when approaching a damp or wet surface because they slide. Wickedly so. Feels like a tight fit. Could have gone a size larger. No very comfortable following a long work day nor advantageous wear at the gym. This is the third time that I have tried Vans and third time that they have proven a letdown.

They look awesome and are pretty decent to skate in but the sole wore through in the back in 3 months without even daily wear. DO NOT BUY THESE IF YOU WANT TO WEAR THEM EVEN EVERY OTHER DAY. It's a design flaw, not the specific pair I got so it will happen to you too.

Beware of low quality! I am a huge fans of Ski8, but these are not high quality. I've worn them 4 times after purchasing them a week ago, and I just noticed this morning that they are falling apart. I'm so disappointed. The style is amazing, the quality, not so much. The color stripes are made with some kind of plastic coating and they are ripping all around the shoe. I'm returning them.
