these are fantastic. the leather is smooth and supple. the color is a beautiful dark navy/midnight blue and the tan accents are a nice touch. these look great with dark blue jeans.

I bought these for my college-attending daughter. She loves them. They fit true to size and keep her feet warm as she walks around her Boston campus. Love the fact that they are also water proof.

I bought these for my son-in-law. He loves them, states they are as comfortable as he remembers the older version to be and so far he has worn them fairly frequently and they have held up nicely (he is not extremely hard on them though) . No complaints from him and they look very stylish, bought the black on black with gum sole and they are muted (which he wanted), but again, stylish.

I ordered the shoes on the Dec. 22nd and received them them the next day just in time for xmas. The shoes were as expected. Quality brown leather sneaker for under $100 that is stylish. Go down half a size from your true size. These run a little bigger than my size 10. The toe bed could use a little more padding but besides that the vans sk8hi is a real head turner. I will purchase these shoes again in black and the brown again. Thank you zappos for carrying a shoe that i can no longer find in store!

I love these shoes! I've been wearing Vans for most of my life, and I have never had Sk8-Hi's. I'm happy with my purchase! Like all Vans, there is minimal arch support, but once you break them in, they are very comfortable. These shoes are a good choice, so buy them!

These shoes are great! Fit true to size...I wear 11.5 and fit like a glove. Fast and easy shipping like always.

Bought these for our son for school as a wintery shoe. He likes them and says they're comfortable. The shoe looks better in person than in the picture.We went with the brown leather and white sole, quite durable so far after three weeks. No complaints.

Not anywhere near as comfy as the sk8-hi pros but these are still solid skate shoes. A ton of ankle support and really good board feel.

I love these hi-tops! I got them in the frost grey/pewter color (basically they are grey suede with white trim). They are pretty comfortable, and have better cushioning in the footbed than my Converse. And most importantly, I am almost 40 and feel like I can wear these with jeans and not look like I'm having a mid-life crisis. That could be because the grey is a much more subdued color than, say, hot pink. I will say that people of all ages often compliment me whenever I wear them. They are very stylish!

I honestly do not think I have owned a pair of shoes which I have gotten more compliments on. They are as comfortable as Vans get, and look great paired with pretty much anything.
