These are pretty good shoes. I like the barefoot concept, and these fit well and felt very comfortable. My main critique is in the area of durability. These did not hold up as well as I would have liked. Some tears developed in the top around the edges of the foot after a year and a half or so, and there is some separation of the sole. Nothing major, and they're sill wearable, but I've had other shoes that held up better over this amount of time.

I am forced to cramp into a size 12 due to no inclusion of 12.5 in the sizing. Because i use them to have good feel and control when running of rugged terrain, i do not feel safe going to the 13's (which i have in the Prio & is too big). Also, being a trail shoe, i would trade more traction over the sole warrantee any day. These would be my favorite shoes for 90% of my running if these were improved.

I have mixed feelings about these shoes. I like the at they look and love the way they feel on my feet, but I believe that these shoes were responsible for giving me shin splints when I walked an extended distance on cement (I know theyre meant for the trail but I was trying to break them in and didnt have anywhere to hike). Im still assessing them completely and am hoping to give them another shot by running in the woods once my shin splints heal.

I love the Xero shoe experience, but found these shoes to fit tighter than the same size in Terraflex. The tred seems to have larger gaps as rocks have jabbed into my heals more often then the Terraflex and dont wear as well. Ill have to replace them soon. I hope not to have to buy these again. (Terraflex was out of stock.)

So I got these in and was super excited after reading reviews here. My feet are 11.5 wides but I had to go with size 12 since there was no wide option. I'm glad I did cause given my toe placement I wouldn't have even fit in the 11.5 anyway. They fit nice and snug and are Definitely built well. But as for comfort, I hated them. My feet were killing me after 1 day. I thought "oh they're just adjusting" so I wore them a couple more days and nothing changed. What ticked me off more was not only did I spend $110 on these shoes, if you wear these outside, they won't take them back or refund you. So here I am with 2 uncomfortable shoes and our $110.

Xeros shoes are great, but the company really needs to standardize their shoe sizing. I've had 5 pairs of Xeros shoes over the years, and each one is a different size, from 9.5 to 11. That means there's a lot of uncertainty in ordering, and having to send shoes back for exchanges. For my most recent order, I ordered the recommended 1/2 size larger than my previous Xeros - wore them for a week and now realize they are still too small. I expect there are no returns on worn shoes, so I'm stuck with uncomfortable shoes until I can afford a larger pair. How hard is it to standardize the sizing?

Sole became separate after two weeks of wear - not even trail running, basic walking. Attempting to re-glue but silly for a new shoe.

The little strap that holds the laces broke (on both shoes in the same place) after 6 months. Zappos was great with the exchange. The same straps broke about 6 months later. I really love the shoes, but shoes shouldn't break every 6 months.

Bought these for my husband, they definitely run small. I'd order atleast a half size, maybe a full size up. Moderate comfort for a minimalistic type shoe. The flaw is in the design- it's nearly the same with from the toe to heel. They look nice, but function isn't as nice.

For the second time with Xero, I returned shoes and did not receive a refund - it's been about two months this time. Not sure what is happening with them.

I normally wear a 13 wide or a 14. The size 14 was too small and the 15 was way too big.

The tread is wearing off. I walk about a mile daily and have had the shoes since summer. Occasionally, I walk more miles in a day, but not more than 3. Also, my feet ache!!!I love the flatness, but the lack of padding is not working for me. I would really like my money back, if possible. .
