These shoes are excellent for the barefoot feel. Good in wet conditions and super lightweight. I wear a size 15 and its hard to find shoes like these in my size. Will definitely buy from Xero again!

Whenever I was hitting balls either in the front yard or off of a mat, I really enjoyed not wearing shoes when I practiced. It felt like my body was more balanced and in tune with the amount of pressure I was putting on each foot. Played golf with a friend, and he was wearing a pair of the Xero Mesa Trail. I mentioned how I wish I could play golf bare feet, as I felt more in control of my swing. He started praising his shoes, and told me that the Mesa was basically that. Long story short, I purchased a pair, took out the 2mm insole as Xero says you can for more feel, and the rest is history. For those who thought the Mesa Trail was strictly a hiking shoe, I can attest to the fact that it is the lightest, most comfortable, responsive golf shoe Ive ever worn. I walk when I play, and my feet, legs, and back felt so much better than when I would wear normal golf shoes. I will only use the Mesa for golf from now on.

I bought the mesa trail shoe, cause I just never cared for the mass produced shoes that are on the market and I would go through a pair about every 6 months cause my feet would constantly be hurting after a couple of months of wearing them even after spending money on high dollar insoles. So I thought I would give "barefoot" shoes a try and see how I liked them after months of research I finally settled on xero mesa trail shoes and so far I have not been disappointed by them, my feet have been a little sore while getting acclimatized to them but getting better the longer I wear them.

Absolutely love these for my desert trail jogs, also really good for climbing..

I have been wearing my new Mesa trails both as a regular casual shoe and as a hiking shoe. They feel great everywhere. They are very light, comfortable, and the upper is very breathable. The mud washes off them very easliy after a muddy hike!

I had to return these due to inaccurate sizing. The Xero website said order half a size larger, but the Zappo's reviews said true to size so I ordered true to size. I wear 10.5 in everything and have for 30 years but these were truly a half size too small. On top of that, they appeared to have been worn for a while.

So I thought I was ordering a woman’s shoe. When I got them they were rather large but I cinched them as tight as I could and hit the trail. These are the very best hiking shoe I have ever worn. I love this minimalist shoe so much I don’t even care how big they are. I’m sure I would prefer a little better fit but wow what a great hiker!

Very lightweight and very comfortable. Swiftly becoming my favorite pair of shoes.

My 1st pair was a bit too snug. I've ordered a pair of 9 instead of 8.5 and it's now perfect. My 2021 is to do a 35k, a 50k and a 80k in Mesa trail without the insole.... Love this shoes !!!

I tried these with the insoles left in to start and I actually didn't like them that much. I pulled the insoles out and fell in love. I use these pretty exclusively for playing disc golf and for that they are great. I'm curious to how long the sole will hold up this year. stay tuned

Fantastic shoe for those looking for a rugged, minimalist trail runner. Xero youve done it again!!

Ive only run three times in my Mesa Trail so far, but I already know theyre the best shoes I own. Good traction over slippery surfaces, great flexibility to deal with rocks and roots, yet enough protection in the sole against stone bruises from small rocks. They fit me like a glove a FULL size larger than my Z-Trail sandals or the size I shouldve gotten in Alpine boots and a half size SMALLER than most of the mens shoes I wear. (For road running, where I need more cushion, I wear several Altra models in womens size 11. Most of my street boots are mens size 9-1/2. In Xero, I wear a Z-Trail 8; bought Alpine boots in 8.5 but theyre too big; and Mesa Trail size 9.)

Lightweight, comfortable, give the bare foot feel with the protection you need. Great all round shoe for trails and walking the dog in the neighborhood.

There were my 5th pair of shoes from Xero. Somehow, these are by far the most comfortable pair yet. I'll be purchasing another pair as backup.

So happy that I bought this shoe for hiking! Its light weight and super flexible. The tread on the bottom is aggressive enough to do what you want.

Well they felt touch and made with excellent quality!! I need to buy the correct size however. This were to small.

So I've got about 75 miles or so in these since getting them and they're flippin' awesome! They're super light, super comfortable and I can feel every bit of the ground beneath me. I'll be buying these again when I need them. Go give them a shot, you won't regret it!

These are the only shoes I need. So comfortable. Really, unlike any shoes I have ever owned before.

This is my second pair of Xero shoes and I have liked both pair. I have no reason to look anywhere else for footwear. My feet are healthier now that Ive been using Xero shoes for over a year. They are stronger and more flexible.

New favorite trail running shoes. Takes time to adjust to zero drop, minimalist shoes but it’s worth the effort. Start living from the feet up.

These shoes are amazing for my active 11 year old son. He needed a flexible, barefoot shoe that offered grip, and these have been great! From hiking and biking, to trail running and rock climbing, these shoes have been wonderful for him!

They are great! I was surprised by their performance on the trails.
