super comfy and soft. runs a little short so i had to size up to an 8. i normally always wear 7 1/2.

Love my barefoot shoes, SO COMFORTABLE! After New Balance stopped their barefoot shoes (again) these were recommended by Zappos...so glad to have found them! So comfortable, plenty of room inside without feeling loose or snug. I've only worn them to work, no hiking yet, and will be interested to see how good the traction is.

Loved this shoe! This was my first time trying a minimalist shoe for kickboxing and I really felt like I could tell where I was kicking, how hard, and how my foot was angled. It gave me much more control during my HIIT workouts. I love the color, too. One of the straps that holds the laces broke after a few months and I was very upset because I love this shoe. I called Zappos and they sent a replacement that got to my house the NEXT DAY! Can't beat Zappos customer service.

I am a barefoot girl, always love wearing the most minimal shoe possible for any given activity. I've never liked wearing an athletic shoe with a big bulky sole and they just seem to get bigger and bulkier all the time. My ankle bones are low and often sneakers come up too high on me. I have a high arch and my feet are strong and healthy at 74 and I think my "barefoot" lifestyle gets the credit. That said, I LOVE these Xero HFS shoes. I don't run, so I can't speak to that but for everyday wear and for walking they feel like nothing at all on my feet, and that's the best compliment I can give a shoe. They have enough of a sole and thin (removable) insole to protect the foot from gravel or uneven ground or pavement. They are very lightweight and breathable. My feet are quite narrow but with looser lacing, a wider foot would be OK. There is plenty of toe room which makes them look just a little funky by "fashion" standards but I don't care. I forget I'm wearing shoes at all. They are the best! (Go up a half size for sure, as suggested.)

Fantastic shoes for their objective. Kind of like walking barefoot everywhere without having to worry about stepping on little sharp rocks / spots or getting your feet dirty on an urban sidewalk. And I love the color.

Best shoes I have owned in a long time. Perfect grip, wide enough toe box, but laces are tight enough to keep them snug.

My old Nike Free's are still my favorites for this type of shoe as they have some arch support instead of being completely flat, but the Xero HFS has a lot of toe room, which I've been searching for, and it feels comfortable so far.

I ordered an 8.5 based on recommendation from the Xero Shoes website, but my toes were still right at the end of the shoe even without socks so I'm exchanging for a 9. These fit well; my previous experience with minimalist athletic-style shoes has been with Vivobarefoot, and the huarache-style fit is definitely different. My feet felt very secure and comfortable. Once I get the right size I'm sure I'll have no problems at all!

I ordered the shoes 1/2 size larger per the recommendations. They are very roomy, but don’t feel too big. I’ve only had them for a week, but so far they are really comfortable and seem like great shoes.

I have several Xero prio models (size 8), so I ordered HFS (size 8), but I felt half size small. I returned ,but i liked it. It was way lighter than xero prio which is also light enough!

These fit me a tad bit smaller than I expected. I ordered a 7 and normally wear a 6.5. The 7 feels more like a 6.5 but it is still comfortable so I decided to keep them. They have a roomy toe box which was what I was looking for!

They said to order normal shoe size that the toe box made up for sizing up but my toe went all the way to the end of the shoe, so hoping to get info from Xero on actual size to order.

Love the shoes. I went a full size up and they’re great! You never go wrong with a Merrell shoe ????

I love these shoes. so comfortable right out of the box. no breaking in. I have big bunions on both feet and have a hard time finding shoes that fit and usually have to buy wide which are often not available. These had plenty of room for my wide feet and no problem with the bunions. highly recommended. I usually wear a 7 or 7.5 (for width) and went with the 7.5 and they fit perfectly.

This is the first closed toe shoe that actually gives my toes room to move, grip, and do their thing! Super stoked I found these gems! My thank you!

I have two pairs of these. I play pickleball in them every day. They dont last as long on the courts as long as some others do but to me the comfort, the large toe box, the fun colors are worth it! I play with three other women that now play in them because they loved mine!

Mostly wear them while working out indoors and they're great! Recently went on a trip to D.C. and wore these all day with no problems. I love minimalist shoes because I never feel like I'm going to twist my ankles

So comfy! Will never buy anything else.

My wife had been complaining about her knees and her feet for weeks. She claimed she loved the minimalist design but was weary to try Xero. After putting them on and doing a few runs/ workouts she has been the biggest advocate on switching shoes. She loves them and claims they are the most comfortable shoe she has ever worn!

Full disclosure, as the title says, I am not a runner due to a number of health problems. I bought these because I love how my other Xero shoes have reduced and almost completely eliminated the hip, back, and knee pain I used to experience when walking even short distances. I wanted something with a sneaker aesthetic so I wasn't scuffing up my Alstons or Melbournes on shopping trips and such, and I loved the blue/purple color scheme. The first time I wore these was for a group hike, and I managed to complete the 5K leg of the hike which was a major accomplishment for someone who struggled with a flight of stairs less than six months before. They fit incredibly well and gripped the half mowed grass, half dirt/rocks/roots trail well. I was nervous that I didn't have a chance to break them in before hand, but they didn't need it! No blisters, hot spots, or sore spots! Other than some dust, they still look brand new, so while I would happily say I would buy these again, with as well-made as they are, it'll be a long time before I have to worry about that.

I havent been able to wear them there to small I am a 7 bought 7.5 still too smalll need to return them. Thank you
