These are great shoes for someone who wants the benefit of "barefoot" shoes but to still be comfortable. It comes with a thin removable insole for a little cushion if you want it. Remove it and you still have a very comfortable and flexible shoe with a fairly wide/roomy toe box. They look more like regular shoes than a lot of barefoot shoes. I find them very comfortable for walking and running on pavement. I think they look pretty nice.

These shoes are THE BEST!!! I'm such a believer in the minimalist movement - and these shoes fit the bill 10/10. I use them for my HIIT classes and for weight training. Because of their design, i feel like I am wearing slippers - i can feel the ground and as such, stable and solid. Love them!

I LOVE THESE SHOES!!!! I do a bunch of HIIT classes and weight training and these make doing these things so much better! I can feel my feet, feel the ground - I'm all about barefoot shoes and these are top of the list! Thanks XERO!

Love these shoes!!! Cute and give my toes room to breathe. Runs a half size small, I am usually a 7.5 in standard running shoes and got a 8 in these.

Love these shoes. I use them for lifting. I can feel the floor which really helps with proper form and mechanics. They are also very good looking shoes compared to other 'barefoot' shoes out there.

These are my first pair of low support/barefoot type shoes. I am trying to heal some foot nerve problems that were exacerbated by running for years in super supportive, rigid shoes. I can wear these all day on long 4-5 mile walks and my feet feel great. I haven't run much in them yet but they fit well. I normally wear an 8 in Hokas and Nikes and the 8 on me in these has my toes near the end of the shoe but not uncomfortable and wouldn't want to go up in size.

Super cute minimalist shoe. At first I thought it was too short top to bottom in the toe box, but after wearing them around the house , decided it was okay. Love the flex in the shoe, and for that reason, one shouldn’t expect it to be a cushy shoe. You’ll feel the ground under you, which, in my case, having a brain injury and needing proprioceptive input, is critical to my ability to walk with some degree of grace.

These are wonderful shoes. My feet already feel better and much less painful and more relaxed. Plenty of room and cheerful colors. This is my first real barefoot shoe and I am amazed at how comfortable it is. Also, I feel much more stable on my feet.

Love the fit, the color and the lightweight feel! Looking forward to wearing these a lot!

This shoe feels good with a roomy toe box. The medium width is wider with this shoe than the new balance or nike or merrill i wear, but i have a narrow foot so if you are a true medium they should fit you great. I like a xero lift sole this shoe has that. The ankle area of the shoe fits right without rubbing or irritation.

The fit was perfect. There was no arch support, but then these are barefoot shoes and there wasn't supposed to be. They were comfortable right out of the box. I can't remember buying another pair of shoes that were this comfortable right from the beginning.

Ordered a half size larger. With Arthritis in the feet - I can wear these really comfortably!!! Love them

If you like the minimalist feel just like you are barefoot; this is a good shoe for you. The toe box is wide so your toes can splay out.

Purchased these for a competition after another brand of shoes purchased through a different vendor failed to fit correctly. I ordered Tuesday, not expecting these to arrive Thursday… they did!!! This gave me adequate time to work out in these prior to the competition on Saturday and feel confident in how they would react. Thank you Zappos!!! Now on to fit…They fit perfectly, like literally walking barefoot. The shoe ran true to size and my toes have ample space to move around, keeping me grounded on heavy lifts. The lightness of the shoe makes box jumps a breeze, and surprisingly, they handled rope climbs like my bigger, clunkier CF shoes. I haven’t run any distance in them, and likely won’t (hip rehab), but they tackled 400m sprints with ease. Will definitely be purchasing more!

Xero shoes were recommended to me by my physical therapist. So I ordered a pair in size 5 which is my normal size and they are perfect. I can wear with or without socks. The steel gray goes with anything. I preferred the HFS over the mesa trail which had a different tread and weren't as comfortable underfoot for me. The wide toe box and flexibility of the shoe makes my post-bunionectomy feet very happy.

I LOVE these Xero shoes! I ordered my regular size because I wear them without socks. With socks I would need to go up half a size because they feel short probably because of the square toe box. Anyway, I wore them right out of the box with no problems and may order another color.

These shoes look and feel great. I like them for cross training and bike riding, and for casual wear. Wanted something lightweight and easy to pack for workouts on the road and they fit the bill. I wear a 10.5 in a traditional running shoe and these shoes in a 10.5 fit well.

I rarely write reviews but I needed to let others know about these sneakers. I recently had foot surgery and couldn't wear any of my shoes without big toe pain. I found walking barefoot improved the pain. That was until I tried these Xero Shoes. I can now walk comfortably. They simulate barefoot walking. They are amazing and I just ordered another pair. I did order a half size larger, as suggested, and that worked out well.

Best running/walking shoe for that barefoot feel. These are sturdy. I’ve been wearing them for a year now and they have not fell apart. If you are going to wear socks go 1/2 size up.

I look for a running shoe with a wide toe box and minimal padding/rubber below the sole. This fit those requirements. I also liked the Prio -- the HFS is lighter as described. The Prio has extra padding along the parts of the show just below the ankle. I didn't need that so went with the HFS. Plus the color was brighter.

These are great barefoot shoes. I have a narrow foot. These shoes have plenty of toe room and the heel is fine. Very comfortable. And they look great on!

I am really enjoying this shoe so far. It is like a zero drop or something on the insole? My chiropractor actually recommended it as I was having extreme hip pain with my Asics and every other shoe. He felt buying these flat shoes would help my hips and allow my feet to do the work of supporting my body and not my hips. So far he has been right. I read a review that said if you have a wide foot to go up a half size larger than what you would normally order. I did this and they fit wonderfully. I haven't tried running in them yet but hopefully I can try to get another pair and try to run in them.
