I have always wanted a pair of work boots. I didnt know how these would work on my slightly wide feet. The quality is exceptional, I could wear them right away with very little discomfort and I know they are going to keep getting better! This is my third pair of Nisolos and I definitely think they are true to size! Dont hesitate on this brand!

First off, really appreciate the team at Nisolo. I ordered a size 6 and tried it a few wears before ordering up a half size to 6.5 which feels perfect. Still breaking them in, but if you have small but wide feet like mine, I definitely recommend sizing up a half size at least for some more room. I had a great exchange experience; expected a long exchange time since I needed to return my pair before Nisolo would ship the replacement pair, however the entire exchange process just took one week! Nisolo I suspect had shipped out the replacement pair early for me. Thank you Nisolo for your business values and for valuing us as customers. These are the best leather shoes I've ever owned.

Even since I got these boots I haven't been able to take them off. They are incredibly comfortable, look great with many different outfits, and have stood up well to winter conditions. Couldn't recommend these more for anyone looking for the next staple investment for their closet.

Nisolo gifted me the Amalia All Weather Boots and as soon as I received them I took them on a test run in challenging conditions even though I had chosen the stone color! Fit / Sizing I chose my usual size (7.5) and they fit like a glove. They are on the narrower side in my opinion so I would size up if you're planning on wearing big wool socks. Comfort These took no time to break in. I've walked a couple miles in them on rugged terrain and have nothing to report besides how comfortable they felt. No need to switch shoes once I came back to the car. The studded rubber soles also make them a great boot for walks on slippery terrain. Waterproofing I wasn't even scared to get the boots dirty because of their waterproof suede leather. I have yet to test them in the pouring rain (Central Oregon is definitely drier than Portland) but looking at how easy to clean they were (a rag and water), I could tell that they are definitely water-resistant. Style I played it safe with a black jeans / brown sweater combo but I can definitely picture all-cream outfits or styling the boots with a classic pair of jeans. I recently purchased a long flowy skirt from the thrift store that I can totally picture with laced-up boots! So many possibilities!

I purchased the olive green and the color is gorgeous. I'm so sad that they're retiring the color for all the future people that will miss out! The boots are absolutely beautifully made and I could not be happier. The break in time was not bad at all (but save your heels and do short intervals!). I have wider feet and normally wear an 8.5 and tried on both an 8.5/9. While the 9 fit the width of my foot better, it ended up being way too long and looked way too big on my foot. The 8.5 was perfect in length but tight in the width, but I took my chances in the hopes that the leather would mold around my foot (which appears to be working!). More than anything, I'm so happy to be able to buy a pair of ethically made boots that I know are going to last for years and years and years. I could not be happier with the company and the good they are doing in the world! Thank you, Nisolo! Keep it up!!!

These are my absolute favorite pair of shoes. They are comfortable, hold up in rain and snow, and keep my feet feeling good while I stand all day at work. They look good as a casual style and business casual.

I received these so much quicker than expected and you can really tell the detail they place into packaging the shoes because everything was so well placed to make sure there was no damage to the box or the shoes during shipping. The shoes themselves are of the most high grade quality too! Aside from the beautiful color and style, the fit was great. I did order them in a size 6, which is my usual size, and they fit perfectly length wise. However, I do have a wide foot & a flat foot at that so I have had to break them in which caused some pain the first day wearing them but even at the end of the first day, they felt so much better than when I first put them on. They are real leather so I do expect them to keep forming to the shape of my foot so I'm not at all worried about them continuing to give me more pain. Definitely worth the money.

Thrilled to have found a boot that can handle being outdoors and looks classic at the same time. Can wear these with so many outfits. They do take some wear around the house to break in, but I expected this process from well-made leather shoes, and it was completely worth the time as now I have shoes that are worth investing in and will last me a long time. So pleased with my purchase!

These boots are stylish, well made, and comfy. I am so glad I went for it with these beauties! I did go up a half size and that seems to be just right.

I got these in the last pair of 8.5 in dark olive suede. They do look dark brown in some light but that's not a bad thing. Worn with thick socks these were comfortable for me right out of the box. One shoe seemed to fit a bit tighter for some reason. I've worn these inside and for two very short walks in the neighborhood. There was a slight bit of rubbing on one heel that should go away once I break them in more. I have a wide foot that is usually an 8 in boots (between a 7.5 and 8 in other shoes) and I sized up to an 8.5. They don't feel too long in the toe box even with sizing up. These are worth trying out. They are somewhat casual but the streamlined shape and material is much more dressy than my other lace up boots.

These were comfortable and fit perfectly out of the box. The leather smells great, beautiful construction, they seem very sturdy. No break-in needed.

I adore these boots! Stylishjust the right mix of elegant and tomboy. And as with all Nisolo shoes, so well made. I have a slightly wide foot so ordered a half size up; perfect with thick socks. Wore them around the house at first to soften the uppers; no problem breaking them in quickly. Have worn them almost every day.

I would wear them a few hours a day and this past week Ive worn them everyday to work for long hours, so comfortable! Not to mention, Ive gotten loads of compliments on them. Im sure Ill be buying another pair very soon.

Love these boots, they are exactly the classic sort of timeless shape I was looking for. Beautiful color, well made. I had to go up a full side to accommodate high arches and thick socks, but fit is great. Definitely need some breaking in, as with anything quality.

I was hesitant about these as I have the older version of the Chelsea boots in the same size, and they are quite uncomfortable even after a lot of break-in time (size 10, slightly wide feet). But the Amalias are wonderful. They were very stiff at first, but softened up quickly and are roomy enough for thick socks. The quality and craftsmanship is amazing, probably the best pair of shoes I own.
