These are so high quality! I sized up half a size so they fit perfectly with socks. These should be great for years to come plus they are stylish in a classic way.

High quality and beautiful coloring. Takes a little breaking in but thats to be expected. They can be dressed up or down and the weather-proofing is a huge bonus.

I had my eyes on these boots for awhile before making the purchase. I am SO glad I bought these boots. The boots are even better in person. Well made and excellent quality! I have even had strangers compliment me on these boots. They did take a bit to break in, but after wearing them around the house a few days, they loosened up and fit well! So glad I finally ordered them!

I already had these in dark olive and wore them constantly, so I decided to try another color so I could switch off. They are great, well-made boots.

I originally bought these boots in a 7.5, but exchanged them for a 8 and they fit great with thicker socks. I love the look of these boots and I know I will have them for many years to come. Highly recommend!

These are gorgeous. I was deciding between the brandy and brown, and I love the subtle red undertone of the brandy. It gives just a little extra pop to anything I wear. I am still breaking these in after about a week, but I have really high arches. They will last me years of wear and I really love them!

I had been looking at the Amalia All Weather Boot in the green color for several weeks trying to justify spending the money on a pair of boots that I would use only half of the year as I live in Louisiana and it gets too hot and humid for boots . Well, I missed getting the green color in my size and Nisolo doesn't offer that color any more. So, I looked at the Brandy color, read the reviews and decided it was worth it. You can dress this boot up or down. They are GORGEOUS! I tried them on and perfection. I am 5'4" and they come up higher on me than someone taller and are somewhat stiff at the top. I'm sure that is because the leather is of high quality and will last much longer than a cheaply made boot. I had them on, walking around my house, and they are already breaking in. The color, quality, design, padding are all worth the price. You won't regret your purchase. I ordered my normal size 7.5 and they fit fine. I have a narrow foot.

I ordered 1/2 size larger based on other recommendations and glad I did so. They will take some breaking in as they are a little stiff, but still very comfortable. So happy with my purchase!

If you have wide feet and plan to wear wool socks, definitely go a half-size up. At first, even with a size up, the boots will feel stiff, but they'll quickly break in. Like well-made leather goods, they require patience at first but soon become comfortable. As always with Nisolo, the product is beautiful, well-crafted, and ethically sound. It's hard to imagine buying elsewhere after you experience the overall quality of this company, from the good itself to what it stands for to its helpful customer service.

I had originally planned to purchase a pair of Nisolo ankle boots but every time I came to their page, I would end up looking at the all weather Amelia. Im so glad I got these, they have worn in so nicely and are well suited for my life, I appreciate that I can wear ethically made boots that are beautiful that still allow me while chase my kids outside. I found them to be true to size with a very minimal break in period, I wore extra thick socks the first two wears and had no blisters or discomfort.

I received my boots (8.5, which I normally wear) and they fit ok, but while I was working through the break-in process, I realized my feet were just a little too cramped for comfort. The return process was so simple and as soon as I dropped my pair at FedEx, my replacement shipped (size 9 this time!), I got them so quickly and they are breaking in nicely. These boots are well made and comfortable. I definitely recommend a size up, even for narrow feet like mine.

These shoes are very well made and look great. After a few days of breaking them in around the house, I wore them out and got multiple compliments from people. They pretty true to size, if not slightly big, which is good for thicker socks in winter.

I hesitated to size up in these and bought my true Nisolo size of 9.5 - they'll have to be returned for a 10. They do fit but the front of the boot is much stiffer than the rest of the shoe and I don't think that thick leather will budge much. My big toe doesn't quite hit the edge but the rest of my toes are pretty squished - I'd say this has a narrow toe box. If you have pretty narrow feet or shorter toes, these would be TTS. Otherwise, size up a half size. The quality is superb and the color and feel of the suede is perfect for more casual or even business casual looks!

These are solid, well constructed boots. They are really versatile and can be worn for an urban hike or in more formal situations too. I usually wear and 8.5 but ordered a 9 (I have the Chelsea boots in a 9 and they are snug). I was nervous at first because my foot slid around inside of the boot but when I wear them with thick socks, they are perfect. The only complaint I have is that the top of the tongue rubs into my low shin where it hits at the top of the boot. I think this will become less of an issue as the leather softens.

I loved the smell of leather when I opened the box! The style, color and fit of my new Amalia All Weather Boots is perfect for me. I find it awesome that they are handmade in Peru and like the concept of the Nisolo Ethical Marketplace.

Love this shoe! I planned on wearing these with thicker socks, so I decided to go up a size and didn't regret it. Has a slight masculine feel, but isn't "manly". Goes with everything!

I have several shoes -ranging from boots to sandals-from Nisolo. I typically wear between an 8-8.5 normally and in the Chelsea and most Nisolo shoes I wear an 8.5. I have high arches and couldnt get my foot into the 8.5 in the Amalia boot. I had to size up to a 9 and it was incredibly stiff. I did get a blister on one heel, but after about 3 wears, they are breaking in nicely. Ive received several compliments on these boot already and they are keeping my feet warm and dry. Would definitely recommend, just give them some time to break in.

The boots are stunning and are incredibly well made. I needed approximately 5 wears (sitting down for a few hours at home) to break them in to a point that I felt I could wear them outside the house for a few hours. I have very narrow feet and found the shoes very tight with anything thicker than a regular sock. I'm consistently a true size 8. I considered going up half a size size to accommodate a thicker sock, but decided to stick with my true size because the toe length was perfect with a little extra room. Looking forward to wearing these for years to come.

Love these boots. Could tell from the first pair I received that they are excellent quality and will last a long time. However, I ordered my usual size (7.5) and could barely get my foot in them. I returned for a 8.5 which was much more comfortable. Take time to break in, but they are worth it! Size up if you can.
