I work for a lot of vegan brands, and generally adhere to a vegan lifestyle, but feel that the environmental impact and lack of durability of synthetic leathers and fabrics is not yet at a point where I wish to invest in them. I believe whole heartedly in investing in quality clothing that may be more expensive, but with care will last a lifetime rather than contributing to more disposable and wasteful fast fashion. I especially love that the sole is constructed in a way to be easily replaceable when worn out, rather than forcing you to throw the boots away. These are my second pair of Nisolo shoes, and while initially quite snug around the front of my foot, after a week of conditioning, warm blasts with a hair dryer, and short walks they're already breaking in and feel like they were made for my feet. I can't wait until the leather breaks in even more, and to wear these for years and years. I definitely recommend looking up videos on how to properly condition and break in new boots to avoid creasing, or damaging the leather. These are worth every penny, and will last you a lifetime if you take proper care of them!

These boots did not disappoint. I was thrilled when I got them and immediately started wearing them. I was pleased with how comfortable they are. The quality is incredible and the color brown is a perfect classic shade. The sizing was also spot on. So impressed with Nisolo and will definitely be a return customer!!

I bought the brown leather Amalia lace up boots after Christmas, and they are absolutely beautiful. I wanted to get a nice pair of boots, that would, with care, really last a long time, and that is exactly what I got. I am very excited to break these boots in and wear them for the next 10+ years.

These shoes are beautifully designed and packaged. The care that goes into making them is noticeable. You really have to break them in and stretch the leather but these are worth every penny. New favorite shoe!

These boots are gorgeous! Definitely narrower, but the sole is soooo comfortable, so its comfortable for walking. The shoes broke-in no time! I just want to wear it all the time. I generally wear 7 or 7.5, and I read the other reviews and got 7.5. It was tighter for few days but it broke in really quick. Im already thinking about buying the other colors.

They were painful at my ankle bone. Maybe it’s just me but other Nisolos work better for me.

These boots are the perfect shoes to complete an outfit. Theyre durable and stylish at the same time. They do run a little small so I would recommend sizing up!

These boots are so fabulous! Gorgeous color, high quality, all weather, perfection! I usually wear a 9, ordered a 9.5 and theyre perfect.

The boots are beautiful and well made. I would recommend them. The issue I ran into was fitting them over winter socks. If they had a zipper on the side, I don’t think I would have had an issue. Without thick socks I found it a bit tight around the toe and top of my foot. The leather doesn’t really stretch much.

These boots are amazing! I really didn't need to break them in at all. To be honest, it was hard to resist not wearing them all day out of the box! The Brandy color is beautiful and I just foresee these boots going everywhere with me for years to come. The company ethics and transparency are added bonuses!

I was on the fence about these boots because of the price and height, but they are absolutely dreamy! Not only are they authentic leather, theyre also incredibly comfortable with cushy soles. Add that everyone in the supply chain is paid a living wage and these shoes are a must. Going to buy in all the colors!

I need a wider toe box, so I bought a half size up. Even so, when I first put these on, I was worried because they pinched my feet just a bit. But after one wearing, they became one of the most comfortable boots I've owned. The leather is really supple and the soles are high quality too. By the second wearing I was loving the fit and the compliments came in. Now, in my third day straight, they are my go-to boots and work for casual or slightly dressy occasions. It drizzled today and I did not have to panic!

Excellent craftsmanship and customer service. I had ordered and found the pair too long and needed a half size down and they were quickly exchanged with no problems. The boots are beautiful and breaking in nicely. I am also impressed with the carbon commitment and am sure to return to this maker for all these reasons. (The presentation was also beautiful.)

Very comfortable, I was able to wear them to work all day with no real break in time. Fit true to size. These feel like they will last me years and I reach for them constantly.

Love the blend of delicate lines and sturdy sole. This boot does not disappoint. It fit true to size and was immediately comfortable. I just got my boots, and I love them! You can tell the quality is excellent, and the shoes come individually wrapped in a cloth bag which I thought was a really nice touch - no scuffs or damage from shipping. The service from NISOLO has been great as well; I ordered a size too small, and they made the exchange process seamless. I received my first pair within a week from purchase, and as soon as I shipped the wrong size back, they shipped the new pair out! I will definitely order from this company again in the future.

My Nisolo boots are everything I hoped. Beautiful, sturdy, and easy to break in. I just wish the pandemic would end so I had somewhere to show them off.

These are so incredible that they were the envy of folks of all genders at my recent work event. I am usually looking for great footwear that isnt too femme or masc in either direction on their own, and can be dressed up or down and worn with several different kinds of outfits. (Im non-binary si this is important for me!) These are SPECIAL. Theyre well-made. The brandy color is fantastic. I just love them. Cant wait to get another color.

I had been looking for this style of boot for quite some time. I actually found this company through a Google search. Upon reading about them, I only wanted to support this company even more. With this style of boot, I typically have trouble with them rubbing blisters on feet because they just dont fit properly. I have worn these once so far and have not had this issue! They were pretty comfortable to wear. The boots are a little tough brand new, but I read other reviews that say they quickly soften up. I absolutely love the design and color of these. I may end up eventually purchasing another pair in a different color. I did size up a half size so that I made sure I had room for my socks. They fit well a half size bigger than Id normally wear. Im not sure how they would have fit had I purchased my normal size. I would recommend these boots because they are great quality and will likely get even better the more that I wear them.
