I wanted to love these. I have been looking for brown Chelsea boots for 3 months. Immediately out of the box, as another reviewer mentioned, I was struck by the orange-ish hue to the leather. Not exactly as photographed. Brandy isn’t a dark, chestnut brown. It’s much lighter & louder. The stitching color and sole color together with the leather really had a men’s work boot feel. Not what I wanted. After I pulled one of them on I found it to be so tight that I almost couldn’t get it back off by myself. Size up if you order.

These were gorgeous but way too narrow. I had to return them. I wear a 8.5 to 9 and ordered a 9. They were too uncomfortable to keep. I ended up buying the Blundstone high rise chelsea boots instead.

I wanted to love these. I ordered them in three different sizes, but they’re just so stiff. My foot is fairly narrow, and they still felt tight across the toe box. They were pretty hard to get on, too. The quality is beautiful, the style is perfect, but for the price, I also needed them to be comfortable.

Beautiful shoes, sadly had to return. The toe box was very narrow and immediately hurt my plantar fasciitis. I didn't feel like it would be worth the long break-in.

I could not get my foot in these boots. They are size 7.5. I have tried the 8 but while those do fit they are definitely longer than I need.

I was very excited to get these boots but the condition they arrived in was disappointing. The shoe box looks pretty banged up. And once I opened to see the boots I was disappointed again to find damage. The boots had scuffs and the leather wasnt as smooth for new shoes. The quality looks good. Very well made. However I will not be keeping this pair. :0(

Ive loved these shoes so far but I have a little bit wider feet and my feet hurt pretty badly when I wear them all day

Absolutely love the style and fit of these boots, but after wearing a few times I noticed that one of the nails holding the sole together was poking through the bottom of the shoe. It snagged my rug and scratched my wood flooring pretty severely. I managed to bend the nail so it (hopefully) won't do any further damage, but am disappointed.

I both love and am extremely saddened by these boots. I got them at the end of August and due to an unseasonably warm Autumn only just began to wear them. At first they felt great, the leather is soft and the color vibrant. They are the perfect blend of utilitarian and dressy that you can dress them up & down. They are sturdy without being heavy! BUT after a couple weeks of wear the leather began to stretch and now I am kicking myself wondering why I didnt order half a size down. For reference I am usually a 7.5 in sandals & heels but routinely an 8 in sneakers and boots. I ordered an 8 thinking this would be the same. I can still wear the boots and am less bothered if I wear thick wool socks (liked mid to heavy weight) but literally ALL I think about when Im wearing these boots is how I wished I ordered half a size down. Get the boots! But learn from my experience and if youre between sizes definitely go down.

I really wanted to love these shoes. I do have difficult feet to fit, with narrow heels and a wider toe box. I felt like these were too narrow for me in the toes and the material was stiff and likely needing a good amount of break in time. I also felt like the boots went higher on the ankle than I wanted, which doesn't look great on shorter legs.

Beautiful shoes. Best for people with very narrow, very flat feet. I have very narrow feet but I have high arches and ended up taking the insole out in order to give my feet some more room because the top of the shoe pressed against the top of my foot. I ended up putting a different, smaller dr. scholl's insole in because no insole = uncomfortable. It's a fine workaround but definitely not ideal considering the price of the shoe. I'm a true size 8 and got these in an 8.5 to wear with thick socks in winter. A size 9 would have been too long aId probably wouldn't have fixed the problem. If you are getting these as a Blundstone alternative, take note that the sole of the shoe is much thinner and so will be colder than Blundstone's thick rubber soles that keep you further off the ground. Wish I had returned them but I've already worn them so I'm trying to make them work.

Really beautiful shoe that is clearly well made, but I had a lot of sizing concerns. I am pretty consistently a size 6 across all other brands (this is my first Nisolo shoe) but could barely get my feet into this pair in a size 6 and experienced serious pain while walking. It was a gift so by the time I received it the return window was up, but I would definitely recommend sizing significantly up.

I originally ordered these in a 7.5 which is the size I always wear. They were so small that it took me several attempts to get them on. I finally managed to with the use of a shoe horn, and they were too tight in every way. I tried to exchange them for an 8, but apparently their website wont allow you to exchange if the size youre trying to get is low in stock. I emailed customer service and they helped me with a complicated work around where I returned the 7.5 and purchased the 8 and was reimbursed for the sale price and shipping. (I still think I may have lost a few dollars in service fees.) I got my 8s today and they were easier to get on, but still felt too narrow. I know the leather will loosen, so I wasnt too concerned about that. My issue was the length of the shoe. It extends about 2 inches past my toes. Long story short, I find the design is too narrow and too long for my extremely average feet. Sad to say I will probably return them. Ive been hunting FOREVER for the perfect, ethically made, leather Chelsea boot to invest in, and I dont think these are it.

I really wanted to keep these, the color was so beautiful (hard to find a rich dark brown like that) and I love the round toe and the sturdy sole. However they would have been impossible to wear. They are incredibly hard to put on, due to the height of the shaft I assume. This kind of defeats the point of a Chelsea boot. And once on they were pretty uncomfortable, way too shallow on me. I had plenty of room in the toe box and the heel was comfortable but the top was pressing down hard over the arch of my foot. No way would I have been able to walk very far. Sadly these will be going back

I want to love these boots & I will keep trying since I can no longer return them, but they are torture devices for the feet. After a week, the blister they gave my on the back of my heel still hasnt healed & makes wearing all other shoes with backs very painful. Theyre really the visually perfect boot though - casual but sleek. Will try to have them stretched or something to hopefully wear them one day.

Normally I dont use those on a shoe, but for these it is necessary to get them on. After contacting nisolo about it it was a hassle to get the first pair replaced as I had to go and find a box big enough to ship them before I could get a new pair. This one I decided to deal with it as there wasnt another pair I wanted to switch them out. This happened after only wearing them a few times.

These boots are honestly some of the most beautiful boots I've ever purchased. I was so excited when they arrived. They were absolutely perfect--until I tried to put them on. I have high arches and there was absolutely no way I could get them on my feet. I even tried to use the plastic grocery bag trick on my feet and could barely slide them on my feet. I thought my nightmare had ended, nope. My arches just ached in these boots and there were a million creases just from me trying to put them on the first try. There is not enough space for my high arches. Definitely not a good fit for my feet. I am super disappointed in these boots devastated to return.

These boots are beautifully made, and look beautiful on, but I was almost unable to put them on. The shaft opening is simply too tight. With intense effort, I was able to get both shoes onto my bare feet, but with socks, it was impossible. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to return them.

They are beautiful and seem to be high quality but they are so stiff I can't even get my feet in them to try them on, with or without socks. So sadly, they have to go back.

These boots looked awesome. But the ankle was so tight that I couldn't get my foot into the boot, not even with a boot hook. It's entirely possible that the elastic at the ankle would have relaxed with wearing, but I had to give up on this style.
