I do love the style and they seem like they would be comfortable if they fit. I bought mine 1-2 years ago and ordered a 9.5. I'm a solid 9.5, rarely a different size. When I got them they seemed slightly big so I emailed them and asked what I should do. I was told they would mold to my feet eventually. They ended up stretching (which makes sense) and are too big to wear which sucks because I spent a lot on them. I would love to get another pair in the correct size.

Those seemed fine though one fit slighter tighter than the other. I wore them once and got the worst heel blisters by the end of the day. Love the style though, will try again next summer.

I own three other pairs of Nisolo shoes, and love them dearly. So I ordered these in a 7.5 (same size as the other three pairs). But they were too short in the toe box for me. So I exchanged them for a size 8. They were still too short but only on the left foot, and they were too wide on both feet. Too bad for me :( They're gorgeous.

It looked too much like a slipper and less chic and styled than I was hoping for. Id love a new version of this with more arch support and a slightly more feminine touch/sillouette.

Ok, so I REALLY wanted to love these bad boys but they disappoint unless your feet are exactly the same size and you order exactly the right size. At first I sized up and ordered an 8 but they were to big so I returned them and got a 7.5 which perfectly fit my left foot but my right foot (which is ever so slightly larger than my left) has several permanent painful blisters, even after wearing these sandals for almost a month straight.

I had to return. These were at least one, if not two sizes too small.

I have been trying for about a year to break into my Hurache sandals, but every time I make an attempt to wear them, I get home at the end of the day with terrible blisters on my heels and toes (literally at least 15 times). I really love the way these look, but they are impossible to wear. I wish there was some way they could be designed to avoid this painful break-in issue

The shoe itself is beautiful. However I tried 2 pairs and each pair the shoes didn't fit the same, almost like one shoe had been stretched out, and the other was way to tight. I even had my mother try them on to see if it was just my feet. (It wasn't). I have 3 pairs of Nisolo's and haven't had this issue. Going to return them.

I thought I was in love with these shoes until today. I never had any issues breaking them in but today I got a huge painful blister on my left heel. I put blister block on this am but it was no match for this blister today. The reason I think is that I did a little more walking in them this time at work but not by a huge amount.

These look great and are high quality. I found them to be a hard break in - blisters on both heels the first couple (short) wears. I also noticed that the center does not sit at the center for one of my feet. Like the leather straps on the sides are different lengths - my foot is pretty normal.

Everything went smoothly in the ordering process and shoes were received in a timely matter and wrapped well. I didn't like that the soles were a much lighter color than it appears in the photo. I am still in the process of molding them to my feet and so am unable to say what the final fit is like. The leather looks very good so I am expecting they will be satisfactory and what I wanted. I took a long time to order exactly what I thought I wanted in the way of a huarache...the design is not exactly what I wanted but it's ok. I like the man style better. I would order from Nicolo again.

Well this shoe is well-made and very good-looking, it is sized just way too small. I have owned huaraches before and had to let them stretch a little to fit my feet, but these things are so painfully small my toes are cramped in to the end. I dont see these ever stretching enough without giving me major blisters before it happens. I am pretty sad about this because I like the look. They just needed to be at least a half size bigger to start. I even tried using shoe stretchers in them for six days to no avail.

Really loved the look of these shoes but I suppose my feet were just two wide for these, which hasnt been my experience with other similar style sandals.

I know the reviews say that the show will fit snug, but this is a very narrow and small shoe. It is well made but the fit was disappointing. I hope they consider wide widths in the future.

Its now been two months and they are beyond tight I cant wear them for more than an hour or two before the pain from cutting into my feet becomes unbearable. There is no doubt this shoe is high quality. I love the look: warm, sleek, well-made. My feet are wide at the top of the foot, below the toes. Due to this, I continue to have some pain and tightness after a few hours in these shoes, even after weeks of wear and breaking the shoe in. I can only hope one day Nisolo will make a pair that is better for a wider foot!

Really really wanted to love these but tried 2 sizes and couldn't make it work. They run very small and narrow. Customer service was prompt and helpful

I was so excited for these sandals. I got my usual Nisolo size 7.5 and I could hardly get my foot in them. My toes were squished at the top. So I exchanged for size 8 and they were slipping off my heel. I thought maybe I got an off pair originally, they fit way more like a 7 but I'm just returning. Disappointed mainly because I could see these being a staple in my wardrobe.

I ordered based off the measurement chart. My foot measured 9 1/2 so I ordered the size 8. The size 8 came in and it felt like my foot was in a choke hold by this sandal. The length was good, but everything was tight up near the toe/bunion? area. I asked to exchange for a 9; it was an improvement, but still too long. I asked for one last exchange to an 8.5 and they were apparently out of stock until March (even though the website said they're in stock). I opted for the gift card, and purchased the size that was supposedly out of stock; I ended up paying more because these huaraches were discounted the first time I bought them. Felt a little ripped off, but at least I have the right size now. The 8.5's came in the mail today and they are still a little bit loose on the heel. I am a 9.5 in usual US sizes, a 10 in some Nisolo styles like the oxfords and Chelsea boot but 9.5 in their smoking shoe. I hope this review helps someone with a similar foot size when they shop for the huaraches. Overall still weird sizing. Wouldn't purchase again, but I'll make them work because they are adorable.

lovely item but ordered size based off listed measurements and found it to be both very narrow and short; more detailed sizing would be useful!
