The fit was very tight at first but I kept it because I thought the leather would loosen. Strange enough I didn't get any blisters as I was breaking them in. The leather did loosen and the shoes are pretty comfortable now. The front covers more of my foot than I expected. It's more of a loafer profile than flat/slipper.

I normally wear a 7.5, but I believe in Nisolo I wear an 8. I had to size up to an 8.5 in these due to just not quite enough room at the widest part of my foot. Very well made and looking forward to getting lots of wear, but use caution when sizing if your foot isn't narrow.

Really well made shoe. Super cute. Love the tan color. Not the MOST supportive, but adding an insert for arch support might help.

Runs slightly large. Very soft leather so super comfortable. The soles are thin so I will probably be replacing them for next summer. Very happy overall.

I ordered the lightest color of these sandals in a size 9 and while they fit like a true 9 the color is a little off. Its definitely more peach than I expected and darker too. I expected more of an off white but its definitely a peach nude. Ive worn them a few times and they have rubbed blisters on the sides of my heels and little toes but Im hoping that they break in quickly. I do love the look of them and I know Ill get years of wear out of such a classic sandal so overall Im happy with my purchase.

I absolutely love these huaraches, and the craftsmanship is superb. However, my feet are very wide around the toe area, and they are constricting in that area, even after breaking in the leather. While I won't be able to walk miles in these, I will still wear them to work and for running errands.

These took quite some time to break in. I almost returned them twice but continued to wear them around the house with socks, as recommended. Now they are very comfortable and I'm glad that I kept them and have received several comments on the cute shoes. 4-stars because of the break-in, 5-for happiness.

These shoes seem to be of great quality, and fit true to size. I am usually a 9.5 in flats and heels and a size 10 in boots, with slightly wider than average feet, and the 9.5 fits perfectly. the back of the shoe has created some wicked-bad blisters to the back of my heels, but this really just means that I need to dedicate some time to walking around my apartment in them with some socks. something that does not bother me but may bother some is the fact that there isn't any arch support or cushion in the soles. I purchased these as a cute and lightweight alternative to bulky hiking sandals, so this is not a problem for me. I would suggest sizing up a half-size if you need to add an insole for cushion.

I am almost always a 61/2. I wouldnt consider my feet wide, but my left foot usually fits a little more snug in shoes than my right. I ordered a 61/2 and they were very tight in width and length, squishing my toes. So I returned and sized up to a 7. The 7's are still a little tight on me, so I am a little frustrated. My toes push against the top of the sandal, no squishing them but pretty much against the edge. Not sure its suppose to be like that. In some reviews they say to wear them around the house for a bit. But debating on getting a 7 1/2.

I was so excited to get these in the mail (shipping took longer than expected) and as soon as I took them out of the box they looked small. Sure enough, they're too small. My toes are hanging over the edge and even if the leather stretches a little, I still think they'd fit too tight. I'm really disappointed because it says they're the new true-to-size fit, so I ordered my usual size (7.5; and I have narrow feet). They're WAY too small. What's worse: now they're completely sold out of almost every size, so I can't even exchange for a bigger size. I am returning and have put my name on the wait list for the half size up.

My first Nisolo purchase (!) and these are just as beautiful as they are well-made. I chatted with a representative who suggested I purchase a 9.5 (I typically wear a 9.5 - 10, 10.5 in running shoes), and the 9.5 is still too large. Of course, it's difficult to judge before wearing a few times, which renders an exchange out of the question. I'm going to try some stick-in heel cushions and hope for the best!

I really like these shoes and would recommend them! However--they take forever to break in, and the heel slips, even though I can't imagine sizing down. I've had them a few weeks and have worn them quite a bit, and they're still breaking in (I'm still wearing bandaids on my heels). I'm a spot-on size 40, and got the newer, true-to-size fit. I walk a lot and these shoes are definitely not "comfort sandals" (they aren't supportive), but they do just fine and make casual summer outfits a little more special; I find myself wanting to wear them most days. I can even wear them to work.

It's well-made, sturdy, and looks and fits great! My only complaint is that there is no support or padding on the sole, so it is uncomfortable for walking long periods. It is the first shoe I've ever contemplated getting inserts for, because I love wearing it but don't want to be held back by discomfort!

These shoes are beautiful and go great with everything in my wardrobe. It did take about a week to break them in but now I can comfortably walk in them. They feel sturdy and I am so glad to have these as my go to shoes for the spring and summer.

I am totally loving these, after taking a few days of painful breaking in - specifically on the heel for me. I go back and forth between wearing 8 and 8.5. I ordered both sizes and had a REALLY hard time deciding between them, and ultimately kept the 8. I'm glad I did because they definitely stretch out a bit with wear, as leather does, and the 8.5 would probably have been too large after a while. All in all, I love them!

Getting these shoes broken in was the hardest part. The leather is very stiff in the beginning but after about a week of wearing them down, they're not my daily summer shoe. I love them and will probably buy another color so I have variety.

So excited to get these shoes broken in soon! I needed a half size smaller than my usual size. Once the toe box was broken in, the heels started giving me trouble. Still wearable and it's not keeping me from choosing them multiple days a week!

I really want to like these. They are darling. However, the left shoe fits great (and I know my feet are roughly the same size; I've never had this problem before), but the right shoe is super tight in the top of my foot. I couldn't figure out why for the longest time.....until I noticed that the top strapping starts at least 1/4 inch in on the footbed of the right shoe than the left shoe. I'll be sending these back and hoping that a new pair will resolve this issue! I just hope I don't have to pay for shipping back and forth again since this wasn't my fault, but a poorly made shoe.

The shoe is stylish. Just a little tight in the beginning but thats authentic leather for you!

I have a pair from the last line when one still needed to go down a half size. I want to wear them Sooooo badly! But my feet literally go numb after about 10 minutes of wearing them. I think my blood circulation is getting cut off. I know I need to take them to a shoe repair shop to get them professionally stretched but, pain and blisters are one thing, cutting off blood supply to appendages I need and love is another :( I love my new true to size ones. Wish I would have just gotten my real size in these and taken the chance they would be loose. I think that's better than what I'm dealing with now

I bought these in December for a trip to Mexico. I usually wear a size 7.5 or 8 so I got these in 7.5. I wore them around my office and house before going on my trip. Flying from the cold North, I changed into these shoes on the plane so I could wear them as soon as we landed. But unfortunately, I had a MASSIVE blister on the back of my heel by the time I got my luggage from the luggage cart, from about 10 min of walking, and could not wear them the rest of the trip due to my new, horrible blister. I don't know if its because I didn't break them in well enough or if I should have sized up, but I recommend wearing them around in short amounts of time before trying to do any real walking! Other than that, they are well made and beautiful, so I'm gonna keep wearing them in short spurts around the house in hopes they stretch out more.
