The break in process was excruciating for my wider feet. It took about 10 wears for long hours for it to get mostly comfortable. Now I can wear it for about half a day without issue! But it has calloused over the areas of my foot that got pressed on. OTHERWISE a very beautifully crafted show that I would be willing to get again despite the breaking in. Theyre actually pretty comfortable now and one of my favorite pairs of shoes I own. I got a 6.5 and I am usually a size 6.

I love these shoes but I ordered by regular size and after several weeks (and miles) of wear - they're still as snug on the width as the first day I got them. That's a little tighter than is really comfortable and given the other reviews (plus the details given about sizing) I expected them to soften up a little more. They're still pretty uncomfortable.

Now that theyre broken in, these are my go-to warm weather shoes. Theyve molded to my foot perfectly, and the sole has enough substance and support to make them comfortable for walking. And they go with everything I own. But it took me several weeks of an unusually long and painful break-in process to get here. I followed the measuring instructions and size chart exactly, and the shoes were very snug at first. I stuck with it, because last summer I bought a cheaper pair of leather huaraches in a bigger size, and by the end of the season, they had gotten so loose I could barely keep them on my feet. My leather shoe break-in strategies took way longer with these than they normally do: I wore them with thin socks dampened in the spots that were rubbing me and walked around the house to loosen them, and I also wore bandaids on the painful spots and took the shoes for short then gradually longer walks. At one point as they were finally getting closer to comfortable, they started making embarrassing squeaking sounds on my heel when I walked. After three weeks of struggle, I was about to give up hope, and then finally, one day I put them on and they were perfectno rubbing, no squeaking, just right. So if you can stick out the break-in period, you could end up with the perfect summer shoe, but should it be this hard?

I used the size giude and decided to order both the 8 and 8.5 (Im normally and 8) and neither worked. I ended up returning and reordering both sizes and the 8 in the second order fit perfectly. A little snug, but I know theyll loosen.

I havent had a chance to wear them because of cold weather. They are comfortable and I plan to get a lot f wear from them.

Some of the most durable, well made huaraches Ive found. I wish they had a little more support in the soles. They are very chic and pair well with everything, but I usually avoid them for occasions requiring excessive walking and standing.

I originally sized up a whole size but ended up returning for only a half size up. One fits very well but the other is a little shorter so it is very tight on my foot. They seem to be made well and are very cute. I'm just hoping the one shoe stretches out a bit more so they are comfortable.

I am a consistent size 6 in shoes. I measured my feet using the size guide and ordered a half size up (6.5). The shoes were still very small - not "it's okay it will stretch out" small, but "Cinderella's stepsisters trying on the glass slipper" small. My feet couldn't even lay flat because the shoe was too short. The shoe is absolutely beautiful - it is well made and a great color. I'm excited to try a bigger size as the shoes are very good looking.

The construction looks and feels solid and well made. The soles are very comfortable. Can see these being every day shoes in the warm weather. Fingers crossed I can make this size work!! Sizing: I am an 8.5 or 9 (between 38-40) depending on brand, so I measured my foot per instructions. It came out at a fraction under 10'' so I ordered the 9. They're a bit loose but since they're meant for hot weather, I'm hoping my feet will expand a bit to fit them without causing discomfort. Biggest observation is that the heels are a bit wide - if you have a narrow heel, you're going to need to size down and hope for stretching, or add heel inserts to keep it on.

I love these shoes, however I am very disappointed with shipping from Nisolo. FedEx smart post took over 10 business days to deliver my package even when the tracking number said the package was in my city after 3 days. Same experience with previous orders as well.

Still a bit tight, but I am sure they will open up with wearing. This is my third pair!

The show is beautiful and well made. 80% of the time I am a 6.5 and 20% of the time I am a size 7. I was worried they would stretch so I bought closer to my 6.5 size but they were pretty snug and tight. After just trying them on for a few minutes I had hot spots that were too uncomfortable on my toes. I read recently that they changed the design to prevent stretching so I am actually exchanging it for a 7. The color of the almond was also slightly lighter than pictured and ordered the Burnt Sienna which will hopefully be a little darker.

Super cute and well made. However, they literally obliterated my feet for 2-3 weeks while they broke in.

It took about 3 or 4 warnings to mold them to my feet. The heel wasn't an issue but needed to have the front part of the shoe be a little wider. They natural color is very flattering and goes with everything. These shoes go with almost everything.

I am very happy with these shoes. I would agree with the recommendation of wearing with socks a bit to allow the shoe to adjust to the foot as the back of one of the heels rubs a little still for me. They are still very comfortable and I love them with just about every outfit. They have quickly become my go to shoe.

They took awhile to break in at first (blisters and whatnot), but I love these shoes! The bottoms are a little wider than I expected, but they fit and look fantastic. After several weeks of wear one of my big toes is peaking through the leather more than the other and I worry that it will get worse with time, but so far so good.

I bought these to replace my pair from a few years ago. They are designed different - more stable than my original pair. Returned them because they were a lot more brown/darker than in the pic.

Thus is my second pair of hurraches. The first one I loved very much and still wear them but they stretched quite a bit and were well over a year with consistent use so it was time for a replacement. I love the improved features and know that this pair will serve me very well. Only complaint is that the back of the shoe rubs a bit on my ankle but I'm confident that once the wear un period has passed they will be one of my faves :-)))
