Bought these as I had been eyeing them for a while, and I love them. They do take a few wears to break them in, but are super comfortable once broken in and are beautifully made.

Overall I really like these! They are comfortable, had a short break-in process and very cute. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because both of my pinky toes push out between the leather straps and look a bit awkward. I used some tan thread to wrap the leather straps tighter and that did the trick!

These huaraches were my first Nisolo purchase. I got them on final sale. I usually run between 7-7.5 in most shoes. As there were no 7.5 left, I took a chance on a 7. Unfortunately, they are VERY short on me. I'll try wearing them to see if they will eventually stretch, but I'm afraid I will have to give them away. It's a shame because they really are beautiful and I could see myself wearing them all summer.

The shoe looks great, but the sizing seems to be a bit all over the place. The reviews were not clear and when I did the "find your true size" it told me I was my normal shoe size. I spoke with a customer representative and she told me to size up half a size in the "new sizing". I ended up ordering a 7 (my normal size) and a 7.5 (per recommendation). I received both pairs of shoes and both were too big. The 7s mostly fit, but if they are going to stretch they would be too big. I'm going to try a 6.5 to see if those work because the style is very cute and so is the almond color. Giving 4 stars due to the inconvenience of using their customer service and the true size feature and still ending up with two pairs of shoes that don't fit and having to pay shipping again for a new size.

I own and love the Frida Smoking Loafer Woven Brown so I asked for these and I received these as a gift. I also support the co as a B Corp! Though the sizes are the same, these are considerably more snug so its actually uncomfortable. There was no break-in period with my first pair and they were comfy from the start. The bottom of those were made from wood and leather so it seemed more comfy and well made. These bottoms are rubber and the leather insole is stuff and hard. Personally, I would recommend sizing up by .5 for this model. I am a bit frustrated I cant exchange mine as it is final sale. :(

Had to send back 2 pairs of shoes to get proper sizing. Cute shoe but the sizing isn't quite right, kept shoes with heel insert. Good customer service.

Took their recommendations on sizing and fits great. Broke in quickly. Wish there was a little padding or arch support.

I ordered a size up (9) based on some reviews/suggestions. I usually wear 8-8.5 so instead of risking buying a smaller size, hoping they would stretch/fit, I went up a size. They are a tad too big but I'd rather have a slightly larger size than have my feet squished in a size too small. I purchased these on sale (and have worn them) so return is not an option. Love them and continue to wear.

I followed the measuring guide and size recommendations and the fit is spot on; it felt tight right out the box but after a few shorter walking trips that immediately loosened to the correct snugness. I took off one star for a problem that might just be the shape of my feet...: the gaps between leather weave is sliiightly too wide just where my pinky toe sits. Consequently, sometimes my little toe pops out between the straps. Not the most comfortable and it looks ridiculous hah.

Take a while

These go with everything! I really appreciate having a breathable alternative to ballet flats, either when going to work or walking around the city. It's taken three-ish weeks of wear to really stretch out the toes, find all the hot spots, and soften the heels (with lots of band-aids), and I think the shoes have a ways to go before they get really comfortable to the point I could wear them day after day. I walk about 1-2 miles per day, sometimes up to 4-5 miles, and these are fine for one day, but not consecutive days of lots of walking. After about a month, I'm seeing a little bit of wear on the bottom of one of the heels, which is faster than I expected. Right now, the benefits of having a well-made, ethically-sourced shoe outweighs initial discomfort of breaking it in.

Fantastic shoe and love Nisolo's commitment to sustainability. Slightly different shade than I was expecting, but still wear them all the time.

I usually wear somewhere between a size 6 or 7, and bought a 7 in these. For some size references, I have Loeffler Randall ankle boots in 36 1/2, Acne pistols in 36, and Aquatalia boots in 6 1/2, Moma shoes in 36. My toes don't curl up in them, but the shoes are very snug and I'm breaking them in gradually, patiently awaiting the day the leather submits to the shape of my foot as promised. So far, I can wear them for about an hour before I start to feel a blister creeping up, and carry some spare shoes just in case. The shoes are very cute and seem sturdy, and I do believe they will eventually stretch. My feet are pretty average in width, and the shoes seem as though they would work with a wider foot out of the box.

Feel tight but I also have wide feet. Probably not the best shoe if you are prone to getting Bunyans! But otherwise, have received a lot of compliments and you can dress them up or down so it's great.

I followed the size guidelines and ordered a size 7.5. Had to return because it was too short. Exchanged for a size 8. They were a bit too long. However I inserted inner soles in both shoes and heel pads in the right shoe. Still wasn't comfortable. However I wore them a couple of hours each day for a week or two. Now they feel great and I wear them almost every day. I had to order one size up but now I know what to order for next time. I would recommend them.

I was so sad when I first put on the sandals, after exchanging for another size that was too big I really wanted them to work. They were SO tight and I was ready to throw in the towel. But I called the customer assistance line and they gave me recommendations for how to break in the sandals and reminded me to have patience. I wore my sandals with socks around the house for a couple of days, a few hours at a time. It was not comfortable and my toes hurt for the first couple of times. But when I first wore the sandals out of the house, socks free, they were perfect! They definitely do stretch. I originally ordered a size 8 and am glad I sized down to a 7.5 and stretched them out myself.

These shoes are great. Definitely would recommend sizing up a half size or full size. I usually wear a 37 so I bought a 7 and they were very small. I sized up to a 7.5 and they fit perfectly. Now breaking them in, if you're looking for a shoe you can buy and immediately wear these may not be the best choice as they take a few weeks to wear in.

Really beautiful and well made bit a little tighter than I'd like. I have had them for several weeks and they still hurt so I don't think it's a matter of breaking them in.

This shoe is very stylish and well made. I have to agree with the other reviews, it does take a while for it to break in. I'm a US 8 and got a 38.5. I called customer services to ask about sizes and the attendant was super helpful and nice. She gave me a few tips to break in and as long as I didn't use the shoe outside the house, if I wasn't satisfied, she told me I could return it. I wouldn't call it super comfortable and it doesn't have arch support but I'm keeping my pair.
