True to size, good quality and very comfortable.

Great shoe , very Fast delivery

I've been wearing oxfords daily for years, I normally go for the cheaper version of these. They weren't in stock at the time I was looking for a new pair so I opted to spend a bit more for the "modern classic cap toe Oxford". Best decision ever. The comfort of the footbed and the leather quality are much better. Money well spent. I love wearing these around the office, I'm on my feet most of the day!

Quality is not good us before

Very nice looking shoes but not that comfortable.

I'm 10.5 in normal footwear. The 9.5 size in Cole Haan sizing fit well!

Comfortable and stylish! Fairly priced. Can find similar for cheaper. Nonetheless, a nice pair to add to your collection of dress shoes.

Love the shoes. They are classic, comfortable and stylish. The only thing that kept me from giving them a 5 star review is, Cole Haan stamped their name into the tongue of the shoes. In my opinion it takes away from the clean appearance of the shoe.

For the price, not as good. The sole is chipped in the corners and bottom is bad. Cheaper pair are better.

The quality that was attributed for years to Cole Haan shoes seems to have been lost with my purchase of the Mens calf skin cap toe Oxford. Upper leather of the shoe seems stiff , the sole and heel seem cheap. Disappointed is an understatement, my next pair of dress shoes will be Carmina for two hundred more they will be worth the additional price.

Rubber sole. Shoe description mentions a leather sole. Stitches around shoes sole incompatible with formal look. Ankle padding is a disappointment vs Washington Grand. Big and visible Cole Haan logo in the inner sole - doesn't look professional and incompatible with formal look. In a nutshell, too formal for most customers, but too casual for customers looking for a formal shoe.

Crippling and uncomfortable

Terribly disappointed. Poor quality leather, rubber heal, dreadful colour.

Returned. Quality is way below previous cole haan. Size was too small and narrow compared to previous.

Literally ripped my feet apart. I know all shoes need wearing in - but the finish is so harsh around the heel and ankle that not even triple-compeeding helped - feet were in agony for days!

One shoe is very stiff and is hurting.

I've worn Cole Haan for years and really loved the shoes for their comfort and style. Wanting to upgrade, I bought the Men's Modern Classics Cap Toe Oxford in black, and I after wearing them once, I thought I had made a great choice. After wearing them a few more times, though, the poor quality of the shoe--particularly outside sole of the shoe--started to show. The sole seems to be painted with a low-quality black that faded with just a couple of wears, and the material on the outside sole doesn't stand up at all to regular usage. I'm a teacher, by the way, so I wasn't taking these shoes into extreme conditions. Overall, I'm very disappointed in the quality of the shoe--especially for the price.

Run big, have only tried them on and they are already creasing. Quality is poor

Very disappointed in the quality of the shoe I received. I looked like I received a pair of shoes that was on display somewhere. They were scratched and scuffed up. Also the shoes were much darker in person, than the color that it looked online. I had to send them back.

Not well made, not comfortable, not going to last. Not a good choice.
