Im 5 4 and 125ish pounds. I got size 8, 30 length. They are a little too baggy and a little too long, but like other reviews said, I think the size down would be too tight around the belt-line. This is my third thing from dovetail and the first brand made specifically for me, my hobbies, my work, and my gender expression. Im in love. Would love to model for you. :D

I love all the pockets and functionality. I use them for DIY projects in the house. Very intuitive for placing different tools in just the right place to easily access. The double thigh is great. My only suggestion is to make the knees articulating for freer movement. Sizing was good. I sized up 1 given a slim cut. Waist fit fine but the legs a bit baggy for slim. But given the purpose I prefer that. I think if truly a slim cut, they wouldnt be comfortable for construction work.

After trying 3 different sizes, I finally found the correct style and size to my liking and comfort. I first tried Maven X which I discovered had too much fabric in the legs and rear. I then sized up 1 size in the Maven Slim which was bigger than necessary with still extra fabric. Third try was great with a pair that fits more like the Levi skinny jeans I used to wear. I am pleased with the comfort and would buy more if they were available in gray or the moss green or even tan. How about it?

Love the fit of these pants! On my third pair already. Stretch is comfy and flattering, use them for work and for going out. My only wish at this point is for some kind of reinforcement on the inner thigh. I blow out these pants within a year & having them made by/for fem bodies (and with their price tag) I was hoping for more understanding that my thighs naturally make contact - making the one weak spot I've experienced with these pants.

I'm a chef by trade and have blown through so many pairs of "work pants" Dickie's, Carhartts, etc. Sometimes opting for men's pants in hopes of a sturdier construction but that thigh friction always wins and blows out the crouch. I digress, this is my second pair, and the first I bought about a year ago and not even a hint of wear on the first pair. I wear them five days out of the week and they have yet to let me down. Highly recommend!

I love these pants!! The material hugs my butt, in a very comfortable way. They are super stretchy, and very easy to move around in. I hike in them, roller skate, bike, and work in them. Thank you for making great products!!

The heathered black denim fabric is rugged, but still lightweight. It's not very stetchy - as expected. The pockets are super functional. Love the 28in inseam! The waist is narrow for the size which helps keep them in place, but would be better for me if the rise was a little higher. I normally wear a 12/14 in jeans and order these in 14. They are slightly tight, so I hope they break in.

These pants are life changing especially for those of us who are working outside, physically, all seasons of the year. Im so stoked to finally have a pant that allows me to do what I need to do (kneeling hours on end planting, hopping metal sheep fencing, working with horses, etc.) comfortably while also being sturdy, functional and quite cute. My 10 year old daughters curious when there will be a pair her size!

These are exactly what I have been looking for. I am 5'7' and 126 lbs. I usually wear a 6 but bought the 8/32 and they fit like they were custom made. I highly recommend.

I've been looking for women's work pants for over a decade that fit like these pants. Most work pants for women are either too low waisted, weird pockets, gaping in the back, and most importantly for me at 5'11, they usually run short. Being able to pick an inseam length with work pants is some kind of privilege I've never thought I'd get. These pants hold up and keep their shape after wearing for multiple days in a row. Only reason why it's a four star for me is that the knee pad pockets end about an inch from my knee, rendering them pretty useless. If you order the normal inseam I'm sure it lines up but for the longer inseam they don't extend the knee pad pockets to accommodate the extra length. I got Titebond II on my pair and I'm mourning my loss, regardless these pants fit so well and the material is so comfortable that I'm done with Dickies and Carhartt pants for women.

I am a "curvy petite" working in a vocational atmosphere...I NEED POCKETS!!! The fit is perfect and creates a positive body statement enabling me to move and work comfortably in my Mavens!

Im 411 and 85 lbs, with about a 23 waist and 33 hips. I got these in 000/28. A 26 inseam would be a perfect fit, but the 28 isnt noticeable in looks or comfort. The waist is a perfect fit for fashion, but I might go to 00 on my next pair because it gets a little tight while bending over. Other than that, these jeans are strong, comfy, and feel safe.

I was cautious at first about the fabric blend since I work with fire and hot metal. I did some research on it and cordura is apparently flame resistant... It held up fine to some forgewelding and no apparent burns during regular power hammer work. We will see after they are washed how well they did. As far as wearability goes, they are super comfortable. The flex and movement are ideal for the work I do, the fabric is soft and fits my curvy body better than other similar cuts. As someone who has loved to build and farm for over a decade - Im so happy that I finally found a brand that gets it. These pants are perfect for working but also look good enough to wear out daily. Will definitely be buying a second pair!

I was so excited to receive my maven slims I could barely contain myself! I did have to go up one size larger than my two other pairs of DTs so these definitely run on the slimmer side. All good though. They are my dress doves for now until I end up in the dirt with them because I just dont want to take them off!

My original purchase did not fit me well. I read a lot of reviews to try and get the perfect fit. I usually wear an 8 or 10 slim fit. I ordered the 10 and it was too tight. I ended up getting an exchange for a 12. The return process went beyond my expectations. That alone will keep me coming back.

I just placed an order for my third pair of these exact pants. They have been lasting me a year each, and the only reason they need to be retired from my work rotation is that the inside of the thigh and the back pocket where I keep my wallet wears out and gets holes. With that being said, the fit and construction of these pants everywhere else is so solid, im still going to be buying them. maybe a little reinforcement on the inside of the thighs and the pockets would be a good move.

I really like the pants, and all the pockets. I needed to size up from my usual 6 to 8, and the fit in the legs is still "slim." The waist is a little generous in this size, however.

Good stretch, great fit, high quality! I bought them extra long for some scrunch at the bottom or rolled cuffs.

I own other styles of dovetail pants & the maven slim in 2 other colors so I thought these would fit the same, but in my usual size 0 these are unbearably tight. I wore them around the house for a couple weeks hoping theyd stretch out, but they never did so I sent them back. The 2s fit better but Im hoping these stretch out a bit to fit more comfortable as I still find them slightly tight. Definitely size up folks. As far as quality and style I really like them the sizing is just way off. For reference Im 110lbs, 54 and settled on size 2/30.

I've been looking for a pair of jeans like this forever. I've always wanted a slim 'masculine' cut jean but never really found them. I've also wanted an attractive pair of work pants forever, unlike the bulky Carhartts and these are perfect. Thanks ladies!!

Love the fit, pockets and feel. Stretch out a smidge which J like too! Will definitely buy again!

I love these but the reinforcement of double fabric in the thigh makes them a little tight in the leg and pulls them down on me and makes the butt saggy/muffin top not so cute. I love the fit otherwise and do t think a bigger size would have worked for me. Hopefully that fabric will break in and it will self-resolve

Great quality, a little snug in the waist and a little long but overall good fit .

The slim fit is a bit restrictive for what Im used to & the waist is a bit high but I think once they are more broken in theyll be great!
