New Balance shoes have apparently gone to a narrower sole design? Ive tried several of the typical new black size 12, width 4E shoes and not one is as wide as the couple pairs purchased last year. Exchanging for a 6E and we'll see? Appreciate Zappo's return system!

First shoes I’ve bought since Covid Good fit Great service

Good shoes. Hard to fit my weird feet comfortably.

Everything about these is great as long as you take your shoes off as soon as you walk through the door, as the tread pattern is so tight it collects dirt and small rocks leaving a trail on any floor you cross. Did I mention they pick up dirt and leave a trail of it everywhere you go???? Did I mention they track dirt everywhere? Get the picture? :)

The shoe looked nice and felt long enough. The width felt narrower than my previous pair of New Balance 6E shoes. Had to return them because they were too tight.

This model seems to be too small around the toes.

Too small. The shoes where of high quality anyhow. On the outside they are the same dimensions as my other size 9s. On the inside they have much more padding or insulation making them much smaller on the inside. I purchased insoles for them which I has to cut down a little smaller than a size 7 to fit properly inside. I think I will give them to my son or someone. Anytime i order something online it never works out for me.

THese usually fit fine but this was narrower, I had to go up half a size :(

Fit was a bit snug but, overall comfortable.

My feet feel tired after waring them for a while

Fit was great. I wear this shoes all the time. I got them in solid black so I could wear them with pretty much anything in my wardrobe (jeans guy here). The reason I gave these three stars is that they don't really seem to last. The sole of the right shoe has been wearing down for awhile, and there's a sizable hole now in the toe area. I've simply put up with it, because these are my shoes; but ... I do walk quite a lot, and the hole makes it increasingly uncomfortable. This was my second pair of New Balance shoes, and the first one had the same issue. Maybe it's just a matter of a shoe at this price point wearing out with the use I give it. In any case, I need a new pair, and I'm going to see if maybe another brand will last me longer. Which is a pity, because I really do like the way these look.

The shoe feels a little narrower than I would like. I am looking for a size wider

The fit is really good. A memory foam is a great help when I work long hours the arch support is I like the leather on the shoe it's not fake or cheap like other ones. My only issue is that I've had the shoe for one year and 3 months now and it's sole is coming apart at the side and the emblem on the side is peeling off. I really thought this shoe would last longer? I'm a bit surprised.

I was hoping these shoes would be wide enough to compensate for my edema and hammertoe however they were painfully tight on the right small toe.
