Very sturdy and have good treads but are narrow. They are still fairly comfortable for wide feet though.

Comfortable but unfortunately for my feet issues (sesamoditis) these weren't cutting it. My boyfriend bought the same pair (no feet issues) and he loves them! Wish the black came in leather !

For:Hiking /backpacking. I have narrow feet and so I would say they are a little wide across the toes. Other than that, super cushy and comfortable. Feel a little bulky bc they are wide on me.

Good Looking Boot. Too Heavy. Needs more arch support. Top of boot to heavy around above ankle. Waterproofing great feature

I had high hopes that these would replace my OBO hiking boots as a lightweight alternative. However, I am slightly disappointed to say that they are not the boot for me. I don't love them and will continue my search. These boots are not waterproof and after about 7 months of light wear/day hikes and one 6 day backpacking trip the toe rubber on the front of the boot is starting to separate from the shoe. I also had to replace the insole with one of my own as the thin flimsy one that arrived with the boot didn't last more than a couple of weeks.

Really hard sole shoes and the sizing is so running small. Nice looking shoes and outside material but I will appreciated if the insole has more cushion.

Good looking shoe. Unfortunately narrow and too short for my size 10 foot. I've had many pair of North Face hiking shoes and I always love them in the trail.

Great looking boot, but way too small. I wear 7/7.5 tennis shoe so I sized up to an 8 in this boot and it was still too tight everywhere! Size up 1-1.5 sizes above your norm.

Nice looking shoe, BUT... runs small even for my very narrow foot. Felt snug all around with a lightweight sock. Sizing up a must. The shoelaces are too short to even tie. Not sure how a company can overlook such basic details: get a foot in a boot and tie a long enough lace.

Super cute, but... way too small even with a lightweight sock. At least 1/2 size smaller if you have a narrow foot. More for wider feet. I'm a 5 1/2 and for the first time ever, a size 6 felt toooooo small. Another negative, those SHORT shoelaces can barely be laced up. Not for me, sadly.

Very nice boot. Needs a little more arch support. It was just a little too small with a medium sock.

Returning these- I tried on and loved the fabric version of this boot at a local store but they did not have the size I needed. I assumed the leather version would be extra lux and so ordered from this site. Unfortunately upon trying on at home, as the leather creased over my toes, it made an annoying noise with every step and I felt the fold :(. I did not want to risk taking these boots on a hiking trip next week and discover too late that this trouble did not soften and get better.

I've had these shoes for three weeks, and they are starting to come apart on the eyelet piece
