Love the boots! Brown color was darker than I had envisioned, although the listing does seem to reflect the color correctly.

Love the boots but they do run small, I went up a size so I can wear them with thick socks. Haven't tested them in extreme cold yet.

The lower part of the boot is waterproof, as long as the rubber remains intact. However, after about a year of use, the left heel has cracked. I am writing this after slopping through a wet snowfall, during which I discovered the boots were no longer waterproof. Every other step let more and more cold water into my sock. I'm sure these boots are fine for the moderate snowfalls of more southerly states, but they don't quite cut it in Vermont.

Boot definitely runs small, probably a half to a full size smaller. The boot is also very stiff. Feels like you're walking in a ski boot. Returned this item.

Solid winter boots are necessary in Maine. I've had these for a couple months now. They've been used to cheer on kids at XC Ski races (my toes stayed warm for hours!), thrown on for the grocery store (very comfortable) and used them for snowshoeing and with microspikes up a few mountains (heavy use miles with no damage, so far).
Overall, I am satisfied with these boots. The warmth and waterproofing are exactly what I needed. The grip is also good.
I took a star off because they run beyond the normal range in width. My feet are average, maybe a little narrow in the heel, with high arches so they move around from side to side quite a bit, even with heavy weight socks on. If you truly have wide feet, you'll love them. If not... it's not ideal. I'll replace these with something else.
The lace design is off as well - the material and shape of the laces cause them to untie easily with a lot of movement. I'm switching them out but I haven't had this problem with other boots in the price range.

These definitely run small as others noted. I usually wear a 6.5 in shoes and 7 in boots. I bought a 7.5 and they were snug. Overall they just weren't super comfortable. I have a pair of North Face snow boots that are 11 years old and still in great shape and very comfortable. These seemed more narrow than a few others I tried on and even though I have narrow feet they just weren't the most comfortable. Also seemed like there wasn't a whole lot of support. I ended up returning.

This shoe would have been perfect were I not under 5' tall or if I had thin legs. The shaft was too high for my leg, so the boot crimped at the heel. I hoped it was a fault of the boot, so I ordered a second pair to try it out. Unfortunately, I had the same problem with that pair too.

Unfortunately, these boots fit a full size smaller (or more!) than other North Face snow boots that I have owned. Since I wear a size 10.5 snow boot, I will be returning these.

I wanted to like these, but the upper part was very stiff, super narrow, and definitely sized small. I normally wear 7.5/8, sized up to 8.5 and it was still a tight fit. Had to return.

I hope these get softer with use. The shell is made out of a thick rubber which is great at keeping snow out, but it's hard to bend the ankles even when just walking. Not great hiking boots.

Love the look of this boot, but it might be the most uncomfortable snow boot I've put on. Stiff as a board. Felt like a ski boot and there was no way it was going to "soften" up. Also, runs small. I usually wear a 7 1/2 and ordered an 8 and my toe was touching the end of the boot.

These boots were so warm and quite comfy (in the short time I wore them around the house). However, the rubber at the heel folded a lot once my foot was in them. It wasn't uncomfortable but I returned them because I assumed that it would crack quickly in that weak spot. Too bad because otherwise I loved these boots. Also had to go a full size up.

Cute, returned because it ran very small. Didn't have my size in stock to re-purchase.

Great traction in icy weather. Not as warm as I had hoped - I can only be in the snow in single digits for a few minutes before my toes start to get cold. Definitely need to layer up on socks with these boots. Great for warmer winter days.

Not sure if I got a faulty pair but the heel of the boot was caved in that caused pressure against the heel of my foot. It seemed as if someone tried them on and pushed down on their foot and bent the heel. So beware how you put them on. Once that's bent, they will no longer be comfortable.

Great boots but don't keep your feet very warm. They also fold at the back of the heel where the rubber and the boot meats. I am in northern Minnesota, and there are definitely better boots that are less stylish you could order. I chose these because I wanted them to be relatively cute plus have warmth to them! Overall a decent boot, but if you're not wearing the right socks your feet will freeze. I ordered a size up and probably only needed a half size bigger if anything. They are waterproof until snow makes it way through the top of you boot which then creates damp socks & feet. They're relatively lightweight which is a plus but I feel like that feeds into your feet getting so cold so quickly. I'm sure they will last a long time, but if you're looking for a real winter boot for long term use I wouldn't say this is the boot you're looking for.

I have a really old pair of Northface boots I absolutely love and needed to replace after they finally died. These are nicely made, they're nice looking in person. But they run very small. I sized up and they were still tight on my toes. They also force your legs forward like you are wearing ski boots and it felt very unnatural. Not the right pair for me.

Small! Wow! I wear a size 9 in most sneakers and shoes. I ordered a size 10 based on other reviews, but even those were too small. A 10.5 would probably have fit. Nice boots, but felt kind of thin on the bottom of the sole. They went back. I'll keep trying.

Fit is definitely at least 1 while size small and that is only if I would wear the thinnest socks. So sad.

I usually wear a size 10.5, so I sized up to an 11. Unfortunately, the 11 was too tight even with extremely thin socks. Also, the removable insert seemed larger than the boot--it was bunched up at the heel. If it weren't for that, I would have liked to keep them.

Gorgeous boots…they were so so stiff…my foot couldn’t naturally bend and I couldn’t walk normally. I ordered my normal size 9.5, maybe it would have felt different if I ordered a size up. Just too stiff and needed something more comfortable as I’m a delivery person on my feet all day.

Size was snug. I’d say go up at least a 1/2 size. Otherwise boot was very stiff and clunky. Returned!
