These shoes provide excellent ankle support and are great for any outdoor activity. The company I work for provides training to military/LE and I will recommend these to all of our instructors!

I've had my first eye on these for a while. My wife was no longer happy with her keens and my merrells were not great but did the job. I've had many high end brands and none really check all the boxes. With in two days these boots have been worn in many different activities from just walking around to rugged hikes. First two day I put about 30+ hours in the boots and the stayed the perfect temp, dry and didn't damage my feet one bit. The tread is 2nd to none, beyond comfortable and very well built. I had a high expectation for them and they exceeded all of them. Most of all they looks cool and my wife loves LOVES hers. Thanks for a fantastic boot and making my wife a happy lady. We'll be beating the heck out of them and I have no doubt they'll take the punishment without any issues.

I'm picky when it comes to winter boots. I hate them clunky, heavy, fuzzy, too tall, etc.
These are PERFECT. I did size up from 8.5W to 9W.

All I can say these are my favorite boots, and comfortable, and would recommend them to anyone. I actually already recommend them when they ask or compliment them.

Pros: Great fit and holds the ankle in place especially if hike rough terrain. The sole holds the grip so great you will have to balance yourself so not to flip over. Overall great boot.
Cons: Ordered Oct 5 for my husband who works as a Lineman, they have not lasted as long for him. He is working in some rough terrain and it's not holding up to what he does for a "work boot." The stitching if coming undone where the toes creases on both sides. He has stated that he will need an insert to make them more comfortable. Again he is working and hiking is part of the job some days. But overall great boot.

So I didn't know how these would hold up to my Merrells, salewa, oboz, and solomon hiking shoes but, wow. ( this was my 4th hike on Mt. Washington in NH. not an easy hike by any means.) I had better grip and have never slipped on wet rocks less!! Matter of fact everyone was trying to keep up with me because they did not have the grip i did on the rocks. These are my go to now when I need good grip! Also it was pouring during our hike and my feet stayed dry! They were very comfortable and supportive no complaints there. The construction of the boot stayed well. No tears or holes or anything to report about. I will write again if I notice weakness in construction but so far so good. I am a woman .... 8.5-9 size shoe normally. I ordered a men's 7.5 which is a womans 9. It was snug but fit great. Not too tight. The shoe box might be snug for some ( shoe box alot less roomy than my oboz or merrell. I thought it was comfortable tho. Look really good too tho not my biggest concern just a plus :)

Trying it as a work boot. It's comfy. Good ankle support. I work in construction. Not great for driving a vehicle though.

I am typically a solid 9.5 in all vans. I needed to go up a half size for these as they are cut a bit smaller. Once I had the right size and wore them, there was no breaking in.. They're comfortable right out of the box.

Overall pleased - I purchased one pair previously, and they held up well over 2 years of intense use. I purchased this pair and they are just as comfortable as the prior pair - my hope is they hold up just as well as the last pair.

The moment I laid my eyes on these I wanted them! I’m not a huge fan of red but it just looks so great with this boot I don’t mind! Like others have stated, the laces are short…However, if u pull them snug-starting at the toes and tighten upwards you should have enough lace to tie. Take it from someone who tore a rotator cuff tripping on laces that caught on a hook- you do not need long laces for hikers!! I do not consider my feet to be narrow, by any means and these feel fine. Once they are broken ~on our way~ I could probably fit a thickkkk hiking sock on with these boots. Taking these babies to Ireland so I will update if I had any issues with the waterproofing. The footbed is not the most cushy, but I usually put innersoles in my shoes anyway. Cheers!

Have worn these several times now and am quite impressed. They have good traction and keep my feet nice and warm (haven't had them in much below freezing temps yet though). As some people have mentioned, these aren't overly roomy, but I typically wear a slightly narrow 11 and the 11s fit me perfectly. My only real gripe is that the laces aren't long enough and there aren't any options to order longer laces of the same style on the site - so the top loops go unused.

The product is honestly great feeling and looking. Comfy while hiking. The only downside might be the laces are a little too short. Also, the "tag" on the tongue will rub your skin if you don't wear actual boot cut socks. All around I am really glad I got them!

Hiking , the metal grommets irritate the ankle. I'm hoping it goes away when they break in more

Hike through wet and snowy conditions. Boot has kept my feet nice and dry. These run a touch narrow. I am hoping they break in and loosen up a bit. Great looking boot and color way. Only gripe is that the shoelaces are too short for this size boot. Loosened the laces a bit after opening and they don't make it to the top of the boot. Other than that, love the look and function.

Absolutely love these boots. I am on my feet outside for work all winter and they are so warm and comfortable yo have as an everyday boot. I have mucm boots and snow boots but hate driving and working in them. These solved that issue and have worn a pair for the past 2 winters, just ordered a new pair. Only reason they arent a 5 star is because they do fall apart. Keep in mind cold weather lasts 5-6 months up here in Maine so I wore them A LOT. Would be a 5 star if they were 99.99.

I wanted a winter boot that could handle New England winters. My regular boots are steel toe so the MTE-3 are welcomed to be a better option for hanging out in the cold. Size was same as all my other Van's. My only issue has been mentioned in comments before, laces are too short. Can't tie all the way up. Cheers
