I purchased this jacket about two weeks ago and I have been pretty pleased with it so far. The fit runs a bit small it seems to me but not bad. This jacket is very warm. It is lofty which contributes to the warmth along with this new gold Omni-heat pattern. The hood is a bright spot of this jacket. It cinches up well and does a great job of maintaining body heat normally lost through the head. Overall, this jacket does a great job, as a jacket at this price point should. Job accomplished! The only complaint I have would be the lack of internal pockets. The outside hand pockets are of adequate size but are not really large enough to store gloves while also trying to warm one's hands. I would think a jacket at this price point would have internal storage pockets but the Labyrinth does not.

The jacket itself (functionally) is wonderful. Severely lacking in durability though... ripped when someone brushed up against me. I sent it back under warranty and they said it was customer damage. I was really suprised how fragile the material was since I've had other Columbia jackets that held up considerably better.

Bought this jacket as a warmer alternative to the prior years "Turbo Down" and not nearly as happy with this product. It might be warmer, with the gold reflective lining, but it's not nearly as breathable, and I find my back more sweaty than not in anything above 30. The hood is by far the worst hood design I've had on any jacket, bar none. It's impossible to just throw on without cinching it tight, because it hangs completely over your eyes blinding you to anything but your feet and a small portion of the ground. In a light on and off drizzle, you absolutely cannot just pull it on and off without looking like you're in a major snow storm. And forget it if you're caught in a light breeze from behind, the hood flies up against the back of your head, flaps along the side etc etc and needs to be tucked hunchback style inside the jacket; though as a bonus I found this kept me cooler because it blocked the reflective heat I mentioned before. And finally, the elastic around the wrists feels scratchy and not super comfortable, I've never had anything feel this weird. Anyway, not super happy overall and really hate the hood... wouldn't buy this again.

This is my 3rd Columbia jacket in three years and definitely my last. The build quality isn't there anymore.
I work in an office setting and this jacket is going from coat rack to coat rack. I haven't even worn it backpacking yet. On the first day there were little bits of sewing string dangling everywhere, tempting me to take a lighter to them. By day 2 the insulation was poking through. It's been two weeks and it seems to have leveled off, but not a good vote of confidence when my last jacket separate entirely at the elbow on a snowy hike. The wrist seams will be the first to fail on this one. I've started wearing other jackets daily, just to preserve this for an upcoming trip.
The gold liner is warmer than the old style. Looks good, like the rest of the jacket. It does seem to keep a little more moisture than my old jackets, so stay away from cotton base layers when it matters.
As for fitment: I'm 6'2" 190lbs. It always boggles my mind when I'm "medium" sized. Standard giant belly, short arms cut.

I'm 6'2" and 200lbs. The L didn't fit so get a size up. I had a horrible delivery experience. The large I ordered took 2 weeks and the second order of an XL took 16 days. No text/emails until it was delivered as if I couldn't figure it out.
Poor poor poor customer experience on a simple delivery.

I have bought other Columbia jackets this year and this one is much smaller. I bought a L and I'm 6'2" and 200lbs.
Delivery took over two weeks from the purchase date. I literally forgot I purchased it until today.
Too many advertising emails as well.

Returned. It was good quality and warm but the hood was uncomfortable. Wouldn't stay up no matter what I did.

Runs small. Columbia does not do exchanges. i had to ship jacket back and purchase a new and larger size. I am disappointed in this policy. This is the first omni heat jacket that has not been a correct fit. I have had 4 jackets that were true to size. Called in and pre recorded message said less then 6 minutes on the online site. It was 45 minutes for an associate to answer. This will be the last time I deal with columbia.

Columbia really should give customers a way to filter products based on fit. Active Fit fit is terrible-- constricting, restrictive, uncomfortable.

Anyone over 6 foot I would not recommend this jacket as the torso and sleeves are not long enough. Other than that it's a wonderful coat. Nice quality.

I went on a walk after purchasing the Omni heat coat.
It does NOT breathe at all. My undershirt was soaked. This coat is either defective or Omni heat is not breathable.
Either way, the very reason I got it was hiking in the cold temps and it is more likely to cause hypothermia from holding in all the sweat.
