Sure is warm. First test initially I was skeptical and put on the jacket thinking it's roomy and easy to wear. It took about 3 minutes to begin to feel the warm sinking in to me. I bought it for a one layer solution to sub-fifty degree weather in a humid city. We haven't gotten cold enough for a full day wear yet but I like it so far.

My son moved to Michigan last year not realizing how cold the winters can be. Last year my son was not prepared, this year his mom was prepared. I bought my son this coat after reading many reviews how warm this coat is. He absolutely loves this coat and so happy how warm he stays!

I am an outdoor winter fanatic! For the last 15 years all I've bought is Patagonia.. but I thought I'd give Columbia a try when I saw this coat with high tech features! No more bulky layering for me! I wear this coat in subzero conditions with just a very thin battery operated heated vest underneath! Great for walking around town or out with the dogs for a walk in the woods! I got extra large Which is what I normally wear coat fits perfectly and has new look! I got the Amber/black fit and finish quality is perfect! Fully lined body and sleeves with Omni heat material really works! I give this 5stars all the way!!

Very nice coat / jacket. The attached hood is a plus. It has been worn for a week now - lowest temp in the 20s and it is warm. Fits well and looks good too!

I love The snug feel to the jacket. It doesn't feel loose like other jackets. The materials are high quality, super warm inside and pockets, and I like how smooth the zippers operate.

Very warm and breathable at the same time! Flexible to move around so I worries there!

The coat has no collar, just the hood so if it's worn with a shirt with no collar the seam and tag rub your neck. The elastic bands at the bottom of the sleeves seem cheaply made for a rather expensive jacket. On a positive note, it is a warm jacket.

This jacket is very warm for how light it is. I have only tested it on 30 degree weather but it held up against the cold well.

Great jacket for the price. I used it in the mountains of Colorado for a weekend camping trip. It was warmer than I thought it would be. The average temperature was sub zero for the highs.

Thicker and puffier than I was looking for. Not as low profile as my other jackets so hopefully I notice a difference in warmth.

Lovely puffer jacket, feels well made and is comfortable. Runs slightly large.

Perfect fit and confortable. Its warm and lightweigth hooded jacket. The only objection that I find is that has cutouts and it woud have been better to be uniform because seems that change the color between fabrics.

Great light jacket although hood is not insulated. My son is tall (6,1) and thin (133 lbs) and size M fits ok though a little wide.

This jacket introduced me to the Columbia brand because of how stylish is was. I had to buy it and see because I was in need of a warm jacket. I had to buy two jackets because the first one was too small in the arms and the length. The second one was the better size but the arms and length are better but not perfect. I'm guessing the active fit for the sizing is the reason why. The gold Omni heat infinity stands out when I don't have the jacket all the way zipped up. The cinched hood and hem are great to have for the wind to not get in. The front chest pocket is what I have to get used to. It's really for something small. The side pockets keep my hands warm when outside too. There wasn't many reviews about the jacket when I bought it but I think if someone else were to purchase this jacket, I'd recommend going a size up because of the active fit. Overall this is a good jacket but could be a little better.

I was looking for a puffer jacket that was warm but light weight, preferably with Omni-Heat as I have it in other Columbia coats. I've not had many opportunities to wear it since I ordered it, but it appears to fit the bill. I do wish that the cuffs were more like the 3-in-1 coat cuffs, and an internal pocket would have been a nice addition, but I'm satisfied.

Warm and comfortable. I wish the sleeves were about an inch or two longer. If you typically wear at 35/36 sleeve, you may wish to go a size larger. I will be keeping it as is because I don't want the extra length or bulk the XL would provide.

Great jacket. If you plan to wear layers you may need to go up a size. Light weight but warm. I haven't tried it in really cold weather yet.

This jacket seems to be very warm although the lowest temperatures I've worn it in is the mid 20's while walking. The only fault is the fact that it only has 2 side pockets and 1 exterior chest pocket. It really needs a couple of interior pockets, the bigger the better. Besides that it's a really nice jacket.
