I've been wearing these boots a couple of weeks now, and I really like them. They're lined in the inside with faux far, so they keep my feet warm. They're also waterproof and have a sturdy rubber bottom. I wear a size 7, but went up to an 8 and they fit perfectly. So I would say you need to size up a 1/2 or 1 whole size. Overall, I really like these boots, they're stylish and comfortable .

I had been looking for warm and cozy winter boots that are not Uggs and that are somewhat stylish. These Sorel Explorer II Joan boots fit exactly that! I wore them yesterday for a test and they are definitely warm! Winter, here I come!

I have another pair of Joan of Arc boots so I ordered the same size in these. Unfortunately these run small and narrow so I needed to order a half size up. (Sorel - you need to establish an exchange policy instead of charging people for returns.) I don't know if they are good in snow yet nor not, but they are very light in weight and felt comfortable.

I am really loving these shoes because they have a soft insulation inside to keep my feet cozy and warm. These fit well and are high quality. I was a little disappointed in the black color as it is very faded and almost grey, but I love the fit and feel of the shoes and they will be great for winter.

Nice boots, they do run narrow. I got a 9 and they run tight, I won't be able to wear socks in them. That's ok bc it's a fur lining so my feet will remain warm. I think once I break them in they will fit better.

My first impression of these boots was that they have an elegant finish and aren't very bulky. Upon trying them on, I loved how warm, soft and cozy they felt against my skin. I loved how they fit securely with or without socks and the sizing is spot on (I always go a half size bigger for boots to allow for socks, but was pleasantly surprised how well they still fit without socks). I really love the inner lining. It is extremely warm and soft and doesn't itch like some other insulated boots do. I also feel like my feet can breathe in these. It's easy to slide your feet in and out of these boots without unthreading the laces (big plus for me!) The sole is a very well cushioned, durable rubber with great traction and you can walk with these for hours. They were a little squeaky at first but it's gotten better. Sorel has basically combined the comfort of sneakers with the warmth and protection of waterproof boots. I can't yet attest if they are indeed waterproof, as I haven't trudged with them through rain or snow. I got these in the color "grill" and I feel like they go with most colors. They are high enough to walk through snow, and hit at a flattering part of the ankle. I'm a little concerned that the white rubber on the bottom part will get stained, but hopefully it will be easy to clean. These boots took a total of 10 minutes to break in. The only area that really needed breaking in is the upper area of the boots that were pushing against my ankle. I was nervous at first, but after 10 minutes they softened up and are super comfortable. Personally, I would like to see a slightly more fashionable and sleek version of these boots so I can wear them on more occasions.

Love the way shoe looks. Disappointed that there was no arch support.

I like the look. Pretty comfortable arch. The shoe strings don't stay tied very well and I'm frequently re tying them. If I wear them all day my feet get really hot even with thin socks.

These were kinda tight just before the toes on me, I think I may need to return them

I ordered a size up which was recommended. Definitely a narrow forefoot winter boot. I have an average/B width foot) Now I feel I have excess room in the toes. Laces come untied easily but overall, a comfortable boot once I get over how large they look on my feet. I still prefer my easy slip on rubber low riders after getting out of my ski boots.

Could tell right away that these would irritate my ankles with lots of walking around. They were stiff, creasing and kinda dig in. Otherwise, super cute and cozy.
