The Emelie boots just weren't that great for me. I found the heel to be incredibly clunky and the boot runs larger. I like the look and materials, but I don't enjoy walking in them at all. It feels jarring with each step. However, I have the Sorel Ainsley boot and love them; walked all around San Francisco in them with ease. And that's why I purchased the Emilie boot because I thought it would be the same and I like the color options. I'm disappointed in this purchase.

I have now tried two sizes and the heel is way too wide! These boots where my tried and true, wore out a pair every season! Now I am going to have to look elsewhere, so bummed they changed the fit and sole (used to have a leather heal not plastic/rubber)

Sadly, I had to return them. I have 7 pair of Sorel shoes (boots, tennis shoes) and they are all a size 7. I knew when I took these out of the box that they were too big!

I have an old pair of similar Sorel boots that I love. These are the same size but impossible to get on. There is a seam across the toe in the new version that ruins a comfortable fit.

I'd been eyeing these boots for a while - I have a similar pair but wanted ones with a slightly lower cut. I finally pulled the trigger, and on the first wear the back of my heel/Achilles heel area is KILLING me, it's rubbing so bad. I feel like I'm missing something - is the size too large, do they just need to be broken in? I bought them for an upcoming trip and really don't think I'll be able to do much walking in these. Really disappointed, since my other pair is really comfortable. Otherwise, love the color, leather quality, and overall style.

My ankles slip, very thin ankles. When I walk they slip!

Shoes are beautiful but so narrow and stiff, feel uncomfortable

Way too narrow. I don't have particularly wide feet and I tried sizing up but these were so tight and stiff across the ball of my foot. They are soooooooo cute though. Wish they fit better.
