Ok....first of all, the sizing with this brand is VERY inconsistent.
Second, I really like the reflective insulation. It seems to work very well. The issue is, it's only around the torso. What about the arms? If you have on a short-sleeved shirt, your arms will be cold.
Third, the description says 'adjustable' wrist cuffs. Two buttons don't REALLY count as adjustable. They are still HUGE on the tightest size.
I'm keeping it because I'm tired of shopping for a winter coat.

Warm and cozy! If you happen to be in between sizes, I would definitely recommend sizing down (unless you have a large bust) I really like the detachable fur on the hood for the ease of washing.

The color is beautiful but I find Columbia coats tight in the arm area. Other than that it fits ok.

Great coat!
But, the arms of the coat, are for an orangutan!

Sleeves were very long. Side pockets have a flap with snaps, I prefer zippers. Main zipper does not have a zipper pull on the bottom.
The coat was well made otherwise.

This coat is great quality, the color looks just like the picture. I purchased this coat because it had a high warmth rating. The first time I wore it, it was about 30 degrees with some light wind and light rain. I was a little cold. I was expecting to be really warm especially since I was wearing a long sleeve shirt and sweater underneath. I live in the Midwest and needed a jacket for single digit temperatures and negative degree windchills. I like that this jacket isn't really bulky but not impressed at all with the amount of warmth it provides, even with the hood on and it zipped all the way to the top. Don't get this coat if there is any amount of wind where you live .

The sleeves are 3 inches too long, need alterations. Otherwise, it's a great jacket - just for really, really tall women.

I bought a large and fits a bit big. I tighten the rope at the waist to give the jacket shape but I have a feeling it night rip because of how right I have it. If you zip it all the way up it will get in the way of your mouth. Its warm.

I purchased this coat to replace a heavy winter coat (of a different brand) with a failed zipper. I was specifically look for a coat with a similar cut but that had this type of pocket. Other coats have the pockets that open from the top that make it awkward to impossible to rest your hands in your pockets while you walk.
So, in that regard, the jacket meets expectations. This coat is a bit lighter weight than what I expected but has enough room that I can layer underneath it. I expect with layers it will be plenty warm for what I need. At least one other reviewer mentioned their disappointment in the zipper. In particular, this jacket does not have the double zipper. I knew that going in but missed it more than I expected as I often wear this jacket when driving. Other reviewers mentioned that the arms were long for the body size. In fact, that is what made me buy the jacket. The arm length on the jacket is perfect for me, but I have long arms. Which brings me to my last observation/complaint. The cuff of this jacket is non-sense. It has a snap which largely fails to "take in" the sleeve circumference. This would be less important if it had an internal elastic cuff but it does not. The result is that if it is particularly windy, you must wear gloves to avoid the Midwest "breeze" from blowing up your sleeve.
The end result: this jacket is great for layering but maybe not a best fit for Midwestern casual wear.

Love the coat but per the sizing chart I wear XL and it stated runs small and need to size up to XXL. XXL is too large. Believe the XL would have fit perfectly. The quality is great. Very warm. Just too large

It has pockets with zipper on the chest on the area, the zippers make the chest look weird. The jacket its beautiful, looks good quality and I felt warm right a way while traying. I was so sad to have to return it. If you have small chest for sure fits fine. I'm 5'1, 130 lbs, 36C, wide hips - pear shaped body

The jacket is very very thick. When you fully zip it it will cover half your face. Which also means all that material is in your face even when it's not zipped. I wish I would've purchased a different jacket.

I'm 5'1'', 130 lbs, C cup, pear body shaped. I would say it runs a little big. Im usually small for tops and I got the xs (I tried both sizes) It fit fine on the top part but too tight on the hips, so small still better fit for me. However I'm still returning :( ,if you have big breast the pockets on the chest will deform it. It just fitted me so weird and ugly . Beautiful jacket, nice material and it looks quality just not for my body type

I just received this winter coat and while it is very warm and stylish, I feel it is lacking premium features. The zipper flap on the front of the jacket is velcro except for the two buttons offered at the top of the flap. The sound of the velcro constantly rubbing while the jacket is unzipped is like nails on a chalkboard to me. Also, I've never had a jacket with draw strings that didn't have a metal or plastic stopper. This jacket has all manual tie draw strings. For the price and brand, I would have expected more. Kind of disappointed as this is my first Columbia jacket. I normally buy Free Country and they seem to have similar prices but their products always offer premium features. Neither of the features mentioned on this jacket will be functional while wearing cloth or bulky winter gloves. Also, I have dogs so the velcro pieces will quickly get packed with hair rendering them useless. It is as described and I like it otherwise.

Ordered the XL and was swimming in it. Sleeves were way too long and the jacket overall was wide. I even put a hoodie on underneath and was still too big. Exchanged for a Large and that was so small I couldnt bring my arms forward without fearing it would rip. I'm a pretty average sized individual, im not sure how this jacket fits anyone well.

Really love this coat fit perfectly and is very warm considering I live in Buffalo NY where our winters can be brutal . but my zipper is broken and I have no idea how this happened and I've only had this coat a few months

I was so excited about my coat that I especially purchased for a trip to the northeast. When I got it though, I was kind of disappointed with the fit. It is way too big and not flattering. I'm 140 lbs and 5'8. I got the small size and it just looks like I'm wearing a man's coat. You can draw the string at the waist but the chest area was just bulky. No interior pockets. The technology inside did keep me super warm on my trip. Next time for a more flattering fit, I'll probably do the north face.

Super adorable jacket however the sleeve, ughhh!! So dang long and I have average arms. Tried a size small and the sleeve length was perfect but over fit was too small. Really bummed. Ive noticed this sleeve length issue with other Columbia jackets too.

I bought this jacket because of the omni heat. I live in Northern Maine and it can get pretty cold. I love the fit, quality and look of the jacket, but it is not warm at all. Even with layers. The arms feel like they have no insulation at all. I bought this to replace my old Columbia jacket that was incredibly warm. It's just left me disappointed.

I'm 5 foot 110 pounds and I ordered a small to layer clothes underneath. I found this to be way too big and boxy on me. It does have draw strings but I really prefer the elastic ones with the sliding adjustable buttons. They just basically use a shoe string and you have to make your own knot. If I zipped it up all the way it would cover my eyes. I just found it not to be very flattering. The material on the inside is very eye catching and I'm not a fan of that showing when it's unzipped. Very warm though. I would say it's great if you don't care about it being cute at all. Returning this one for a North Face Puffer Jacket

Very comfortable and warm. My only suggestions for improvement would be to the customization of the fit of the waist, hat and wrists areas; there needs to be a clasp of sorts that you easily adjust to the proper fit as the only way now is to tie a knot. It should be effortless to adjust the fit in my opinion. I also think there should be a better quality zipper as this appears to be thin and cheap.

The coat seemed warm and well made, but runs small, especially in the shoulder area. The seams were very tight with little to no wiggle room. Purchased a medium, but will most likely exchange for a large and hope that it fits right.
