Not long received pulled them on and was impressed with how comfy they were from the start and warm but order a half size smaller than the normal size and could have done with another half size smaller (so full Uk size smaller than recommended according to hiking boots bought elsewhere and backed up that insoles in hiking boots and these are different lengths) but wore them outside without thinking but just adding different insoles and can see me wearing for years to come

Look great, well made, durable, but could have a better support insert. Kinda stiff 4.4

Comfortable, however, pull strap stitching broke after less than 15 days of wear, taking to shoe repair to restitch.

It's a comfortable boot that forms good to the foot, only problem is I wish the ankle area on the boot was just a little bit tighter so there isn't so much wiggle room walking around.

The boots are great overall. I wish they had wide sizes available though because I usually wear wide sizes and they aren't available with these and if they were they would fit perfect.

The most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned. Just a few weeks in and they fit like they were custom made. My only complaint is that the heels are mismatched - one has clearly defined layers while the other is nearly a solid color. I smoothed them out with some shoe polish, but it feels odd to have to do that every few days. Hopefully when they are worn in, the difference will be less noticeable.

I purchased these boots about 6 months ago and have worn them several times a week since then. They are comfortable and didn't need any break in, and I have done some good walking around in them. I haven't had any comfort issues at all. They also can supposedly be resoled through Ariat's partnership with a 3rd party, though I haven't got to that point yet. The issue that I have noticed is that there are two places that the stitching is coming undone, one at the heel and one at the elastic. This is alarming given the recent purchase. I haven't really put these boots through the ringer, but the stitching is already losing its integrity. I wanted to love these boots, especially with the possibility to resole them, but instead I'll be looking for a different chelsea boot in the near future.

Sorry to say but these are not what I thought. Had a fantastic pair of Arita boots which did exactly what they promised and stayed waterproof for about 4 years of dog walks. These will do as ordinary boots but unfortunately rubbed my ankles when I walked a long way in them first time. Wondering where I could get some like my original pair?

I purchased these boots at the beginning of January 2025, two weeks before Ariat requested a review, unfortunately I cannot give a genuine review at this time as I haven't had an opportunity to wear the boots. I am happy to provide a review but Ariat please, give me time before asking again.

Excellent boots. Comfortable out of the box. These have been my go to footwear since purchasing. Sadly only 3 stars as despite all of the good points the soles began peeling off after 6 months. For the price I would expect to see them last considerably longer. Contacted Ariat support but so far no response after a couple weeks. Hoping I received a bad pair as I'm a big Ariat fan

I get a kick when a company markets themselves as cowboy and american this and blue collar that and send a $200 pair of boots made in China. No surprise the fit was borderline comical. 2 sizes too long while also being 2 sizes too narrow. If you are frustrated having a hard time finding boots thar are size 12 length and size 8 width, look no more because these are the boots for you.

Not as comfortable as I was hoping. Not enough arch support. And there is slipping in my left heal. I expected more for the price.

I bought these at the beginning of April of 2022. They were very comfortable right out of the box, absolutely no break-in period. I had very high hopes for these, I have heard a lot of good things about Ariat. I wore them for about 6 months straight, everyday and everywhere. I love how quick it is to put them on and my feet do not slip around. I would say they run true to size. However, after the 6 months, they started to fall apart. I'm not sure if I got a fluke, but the front lip of the sole starting peeling and the heel siding started to rip off. I really thought they would last longer, especially for this price. I kept wearing them, but they just got worse. If you get these, I highly suggest wearing them casually and occasionally. They are super comfortable and the leather seems like good quality. I accidentally kicked something in my shop (several times, my fault) and it did not fully pierce the leather, although it caused some irreversible damage. The pull tab seems to be riveted on and is super solid. I was worried that I'd rip that thing off. The elastic also held up very well, which was surprising. All in all, I would get them again if they were cheaper and only wear them occasionally. 3 stars because of lack of durability and price

Recieved my first pair and loved them! Wore them out and about plus doing some farm work for a week but unfortunately the wrapping on the heel came apart. It was an easy exchange process and just received by second pair, excited to try these out again. Curious to see if they're as sturdy as my other boots.

For the first time I am a little disappointed in Ariat. negative points: - The shoes are very heavy - on tiled floors with a little water on it, like my balcony and the entrance hall, they change in ski's! very slippery - they walk very heavy and slow too - expensive positive points: - high quality leather, will last forever and also flexible - certainly waterproof - they look beautiful - very sturdy - sizing is correct

I rarely wear them as they look a mess. First pair had the studs in the heel coming through and were unwearable but ariat were great and replaced them. 2nd pair very comfortable but like the first the leather strips on the heal just come away and they then look shabby. Hence they're just an expensive waterproof boot that I wouldn't wear out as smart casual. The first pair also did this with the heel.

I'm not sure if I got a faulty pair because the majority of reviews are great. After wearing these shoes around the yard for about an hour my toes start feeling worn out and honestly I can't wait to take these off. And these definitely aren't waterproof

Love the boot and it looks great but the leather in the heal and the rubber sole are all coming apart. Only been wearing them for a couple weeks. If they could fix this issue it would easily be 4 or 5 stars

I had such high hopes for these boots. They felt amazing when I first tried them on so I took a risk and wore them for my first 4 day trip. They are so heavy and clunky. Too big in heal area and allows for slip and pulls my socks down while being too tight across the mid foot/toe area. My legs are already tired after one day. They have great cushion and I love that they don't set off the metal detector but unfortunately these were not worth the investment. The search for a great waterproof boot continues.

Difficult one as I love Ariat products and I want to love these boots, but . as other reviews point out, the heel and sole are cheap. They are advertised as waterproof but the heel is a hard plastic with a fake leather, thin band on the outside then to make them look expensive. Once you've worn them a few times in the wet the band starts to come off and you're left with a clear, hard plastic heel showing and they look horrendous. I used a brown permanent pen to colour the heel in and make them ok. There are plenty of similar boots sold by other companies that had a solid rubber heel which would be much better. Sadly I won't buy these again as much as I like their look and fit.

This is a review after two years of wearing them often. I rotated between my work boots, runners and these as my general footwear for the last two years. The Pros; They're comfortable, stylish and the weight is great. You can wear them for hours with no fatigue. The shank is good in it, gives good support and it never collapsed. The Leather seems really good on the upper and is very hard wearing. There's no real damage at all to that. The Cons; The build leaves a little to be desired at this price point. The heel went about six months ago and had to be replaced and the upper isn't stitched on the sole and that seperated a few times over the last two years. I would have expected better on this boot especially with the reputation Ariat have as I have others that have held up better for way longer.

These boots push on the top of your foot. Your foot goes a bit numb after a few hours of wear. Couldn't exchange since the tags had already been removed.

It took me quite a while to settle on these after my old blundstones gave up after three years. Really like the style and comfort of these boots, but unfortunately they aren't built to last. After a few months of light use, I was working on remodeling our deck and used the toe to kick and hold the deck board into place as I nailed it down. The upper completely separated from the sole. Disappointing to say the least. Will not be buying Ariats again.
