I'll typically try Van's shoes in-store before purchasing online. But,I didn't with these. Not a big fan on how this particular shoe is designed. Specifically the part of the shoe right where the ankle is. This particular shoe seems to have been made to sit higher than normal and it took almost 2 weeks to break the shoe in. It was really uncomfortable to wear during that period.

Love the way they look, love how the sole feels, hate how there's not much space on top of the foot. Near the knuckle of the big toe, it RUBS hard. I guess I have a larger foot than I'd recommended but proceed with caution. Going forward I'm going to attempt to wear out that space with my foot.

I've had several pairs of these. They perform well until the sole and vulc part ways

Day 1 of wearing them lacing them up and the tongue popped up into my hand ripped right at the seems. It's now only attached by the elastics. So yeah there's that.

I thought these looked good but I can't figure out Vans' sizing. I always wear an 11.5 but the Vans 11.5 feels too long. I will try a half size down but annoying that the sizing isn't consistent with other brands.

I picked these up at a Vans store near me about a week ago and have thus far been very happy with them. Until last night when slipping them on, the tongue completely ripped from the stitching.

I got these shoes as a gift a few months back. During the last storms in California, I had to walk in the rain and I noticed the ink leaks after it gets wet. I'm super bummed, I usually don't have these issues with Vans but these shoes seem to be the exception.

I always wear Vans and took a chance with these. Look good, but roof was torture, and the souls weren't much better. Gonna return them. Oh well!

DO NOT BUT THESE IF YOUVE GOT A WIDE FOOT. It's ridiculously super tight. How is it i put on a pair of regulars in o e style and same size another style like these are impossible to wear. You guys need to be co sisters in your size chart. And consider making a wide shoes in all styles. I can't even get my money back now.

These killed my feet. Very uncomfortable. Probably should have returned them.

This is my third pair and I love the way they skate, but with each pair they hurt my feet more. Quality control must be slipping?

I wear these everyday to a job where I sit/stand most of the day. Not a lot of walking or much other use. The DURACAP is nothing more than marketing hype because in 3 months it has already started to separate from the rest of the left shoe.
