Good shoe overall. Would have given a 5 star if it had more cushion on the inside sole.

These are probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned, I can wear them all day at work in which I'm constantly moving and my feet never hurt. Every other pair of shoes seems to kill my feet by the end of the day. I wish they made every pair of vans with this comfort level I'd buy so many more. I would also love if they made these exact shoes in a few other colors options, I'm not a fan of the other ones available. I'm sure I'll buy another pair of these soon. I didn't give it five star because the combo of the price tag and the fact that they seem to show wear and tear quickly, I would think for a shoe that's almost 100 bucks it would last longer.

I do love the mint and the shoe itself however I do not like the laces they need to change the laces like the brown vans with red round laces meant for outdoors.

I love these cause they are comfortable enough and cute enough to wear all day in wet weather. They keep my feet nice and toasty! The only think I'd chance is the laces. They're sooooo hard to get on and off without hiking laces.

The Vans SK8HI MTE's are one of my favorite pairs of shoes. They are comfortable and look awesome.

These are super comfortable but run slightly big. Wish i would of sized down 1/2 a size.

I wanted a nice pair of shoes to keep my feet warm in cold weather and these fit the bill perfectly. They have nice cushion to them and the outer shell is soft. My only complaint is that they are filth magnets. I always spray my shoes with the Vans water & stain shield, but these seem to gather dirt regardless. After the first time wearing them the whites had scuff marks and the laces had marks on them, even though I was trying to be careful. Regardless, they're now one of my favorite shoes. The tread on them is nice as well. The last thing I'll say, is that they keep your feet warm, but only to a point. Don't expect your feet to be cozy warm if it's 0 degrees outside.

Great shoes but this pair for some reason kinda digs into my left foot , right at the top of the shoe tongue area.

Love the styling and waterproof performance. Submerged the shoes in puddles and not a drop of water on my socks, also had to mention the very soft soles. HOWEVER I've found myself slipping A LOT. I don't know what's wrong with the bottom but the traction is almost unbearable.

Bought this as my winter casual wear sneakers. I love the color but was disappointed that the left shoe was a looser fit than the right shoe.

They are way too big. I'm always a 9 in vans. I'll have to return and try an 8! They're also very wide.

I love vans!!! But this time im upset ..they're still comfy even now that the sole is peeling off the leather. I bought these late last month today is the 21st. Unfortunately I can't wear them anymore.

I've had 3 pairs of the MTE-1s that I have purchased over the past 6 years. The last pair I purchased was about 3 years ago. They were comfy and solid, offering good ankle support especially as someone who skated and has EDS (basically weak joints for me). I bought a pair a few days ago and was not impressed when I opened the box. They were very flimsy and did not have the cushioning and support I am used to. I actually was wondering if I somehow got a knockoff even though I ordered straight from the Vans website. I'm really disappointed. On top of that l, the color was completely different than it looked on the website. It looks more like a pale tan than the sort of rich chestnut. The plaid also looked very faded. Honestly it looked like the shoes had been sitting in the sun for a while. I'm kinda worried about buying vans again TBH. I don't know if I'm overreacting but I'm just really confused as to how much different they feel from before.

Comfy. I returned them once cuz the tongues were uneven, one was 1inch lower 2nd pair the side symbol was significantly different then matching shoe

Definitely for a wide foot or male foot! Ended up returning them.
