I wore them while hanging out with friends and the shoes were comfortable.

Got the blue with white off the website a few weeks ago. While I've owned Vans before I never got the MTE. So glad I did. They are super tough and have added warmth and are like a Sk8 on steroids! Super comfy feeling and the soles have excellent traction as they have a more aggressive pattern than regular Sk8's.I totally recommend these and plan on buying another pair very soon.

I have had these since very late February and already put many miles on them. They're warm, mostly comfortable, and are withstanding snow and mud and slush easily. To qualify my rating of "mostly" comfortable I will say that if you tie the top two too tight, the top of the tongue will dig into the front of your ankle which is not pleasant. Solution - tie the lower ones tighter and the top ones looser. Now, that gives a problem in that it allows the boots to slip a little. This is also exacerbated by the fact that I ordered a 9 thinking I would need a half size larger to accommodate thick wool socks but I should have ordered the same size 8.5 as I would have in slip-on sneakers. Now I know for next time.

I got these to have a reliable pair of shoes to wear in wet weather and during winter, and they're perfect so far. Even though I've been skating since I was 12 I came to Vans late, and these are just my second pair. These have held up in damp conditions so far and they actually handle pretty well for cruising on a skateboard and doing straightforward ollies and kickflips too. The classic black and white style is also allowed for me to wear all day at my work, so these are my go-to shoes now.

I was absolutely hooked on this shoe after visiting the mall, and could not find this release in my size. After 3 stores, I found them and purchased 2 other pairs. Such a comfortable shoe, and I hadn't seen anyone wearing them. Great job.

These shoes are so comfortable. I thought they were a basic canvas shoe bottom, but they have a great squish to the step. I bought a half size bigger. They run true to size, or maybe even a little bigger. I did half size cuz of wide feet. I feel like I could walk in them all day. My feet are sensitive as well. I think these are my new favorite shoes.

My daughter bought a similar shoe and told me I should buy a pair. I did so reluctantly but am glad I did. I am a senior citizen and you would think "she's too old to wear this type of shoe"! Well, they are very comfortable, have good support and look cute on my old feet. I'm glad I took the chance. The sales person was very helpful in helping me find the correct size , style and color I wanted.

These shoes are so comfortable , got them for work . They look so cute and stylish. I really need to buy more colors. Just love everything about them.

Went to Anchorage to visit family. Walked downtown while snowing my feet stayed warm and dry the whole time. Went to flattop for a little winter hike and was blown away with the traction. Love these shoes!

I love these shoes so far. I usually wear old skool low rise shoes to skate in, and I started wearing them to work in too since they're comfortable and fit my feet well. These are the first sk8-hi shoes I've bought, and I was actually looking for boots to wear during winter when I came across them. They are definitely holding up against water and ice, and they keep my feet warm too. They're comfortable to wear all day, and I have actually worn them to just cruise on my board a few times and they're not too heavy or bulky. They look like normal vans from the outside except the sole is slightly thicker. Would definitely recommend them and I think they'll last me a long time

Hubby saw these shoes in black in the Vans store. Which are the ones he really wanted. But, they were sold out in sz12. We went online and they were out in black there too. So we ordered the brown. He loves them and waiting for black to restock
