The Velcro on the MTE is always too short. This is our 4th pair of MTE and the scratchy part of the Velcro collects dirt/hair. Please extend the straps!

Super nice style shoes, but since my son feet gets super sweaty that it makes them even more than the normal, the style is super, I even like them for myself, the straps they do come a little small, definitely you can see from other vans styles but hoping that wear will make the leather a bit stretch.

I should have read reviews cause this shoe does run small. My dude is in a 13/1 for 3 other shoes but is a 2/ 2 1/2 in these. It’s also quite heavy. Other than that they are awesome and so cool.

Headline sums it up. Strap is too short should've been made longer. Cute shoe but defect ruined it. Two Stars for the cute shoe and cute color combo.

My son has worn Vans since he could walk. This is the first that the straps are too short to close the shoe. Returning. Bummer

I purchased these shoes for my 5yo nephew in Dec 2022. By March of 2023 these shoes couldn't be worn due to the straps ripping and grommets coming loose. When the weren't broken, the fit, use, and water resistant qualities were great. I love Vans shoes, been wearing them since 1997, but these aren't worth the money until the issues with the straps and grommets are fixed.

Love these shoes other than the fact they are heavy. Also, my son has worn for less than 2 weeks and the fabric by the toes is ripping.

These shows are heavy as bricks!! Feel like they each weigh a pound and my kid refused to walk in them after putting them on. Although stylish, they are not comfortable or suitable for a young kiddo. Not sure what vans was thinking with making them so heavy.
