I wear my smartwool socks on my early morning dog walks with friends when the temps get below 40 degrees. We walk up to 5 miles and the socks keep my feet warm as well as my walking buddies to whom I've gifted them several pairs over the years.

I love the warmth and performance of wool but I am deeply allergic. Yes, even merino wool makes me itch after a few seconds. I was deeply skeptical about whether or not I would be able to wear these socks. Good news! They are soft enough that my feet can tolerate them and they perform as promised. They keep my feet warm, wick moisture away from my skin and are cushioned on the sole which helps keep me hike farther with less foot pain.

These are the best socks! Keep my feet warm and cool depending on the weather/activity. I made a mistake and out them in the dryer tho, and they shrunk. Smart wool clearly states to air dry - my bad!! Ugh, they’re still wearable, just not as high of a crew now. Will be ordering another pair ?

I love your socks. They are comfortable, warm and last longer than other socks. However your return system is antiquated and leaves much to be desired!
