Perfect amount of cushion

Wow! These socks are perfect for riding my bike when temps drop below freezing. I wear clogs with them and it is the perfect combo for fall and winter commuting or just riding for fun. Sometimes plantar fasciitis pops up and the padding on the heels of these socks helps until I've stretched the PF away. Two great uses from one pair of socks: it's like winning a sweepstakes!

I purchased these to replace my 15yo smartwool thick socks to keep my feet warm at home. I did not purchase these to wear with shoes. They're great, thick and warm. Only downside is there's a noticeable toe seam, if you are buying these to wear in shoes be aware of that.

I am looking for some thick very warm socks like they used to be made. These socks are thicker though still don't feel super thick and heavy weight

These are some of the better modern day wool socks I have worn. They are thick and warm though still not as warm as vintage wool Socks used to be. It may be there is more elastic or plastic in this brand than there used to be. I look forward to seeing how they stand over time.

I bought 2 pairs 10 years ago to climb Mt Rainier. I still use them on super cold days, they are still in great shape. And this is from someone who replaces socks yearly! These are great socks, well made, very warm, and the fit and description are accurate. Buy them, you won't regret it!

I got my correct size and these were HUGE too thick and stretched out to fit giant feet. Very disappointed.

Lovely soft and very warm! They feel like walking on pillows!

I use these mostly in the back country snowmobiling/search and rescue efforts. They keep my feet warm and fit well in my boots.

The "Maximum" cushion has two large rectangular thin long areas on the top of the foot where there is NO cushion. Further the cushion on top isn't uniform to the cushion on bottom, like 50%, so there's a constant feeling of unevenness. Does no one make a universally totally cushion without gaps in protection quality hiking sock any more?

Good quality

The socks are very warm, which is what I wanted. However, I sent them back as the top band and the area around ankles were tight and restricting. I am an average sized woman - 5'6" and 135 pounds. Socks shouldn't feel tight and cause restricted blood flow in the ankles and calves.

There was no shape to the sock. The loose lack is structure wasn't suitable for a boot. Returned .

This pair is to tight around the top and need to return for a refund. The socks are very nice otherwise.

Dissatisfied these socks are by no means moisture wicking

Product runs very large. Already coming apart after one washing. They become even looser upon wearing for an hour or more.
