These are the best socks ever! I bought five pairs I wish I would have bought more so I could wear them every day. They have been keeping my feet toasty warm and they are very comfortable. They don't squeeze my ankles likes some of the other smartwool socks do. I did snag one sock and some thread pulled away, so I hope it doesn't cause a problem in the future. These socks are very thick so they fit best in my hiking shoes, but I have worn them in a looser fit tennis shoe too.

I have purchased these socks in the past and love them but the particular pair I received had multiple places where the yarn was pulled up on the top of both socks. It didn't seem worth returning them but I'll definitely think twice before ordering online again.

I wear these socks every day during our Pennsylvania COLD winters. I originally purchased 2 pairs. My feet were so warm and cozy that I didn't want to wear any other sock, so I purchased 4 more pairs. These will be my go to sock every winter going forward. Super cozy

I've been wearing these socks every day during our frigid winter with temps around zero and constant snowfall. None of my other socks can beat the warmth of these socks. If your socks aren't keeping your feet warm, you need to try these. You won't regret it. They are also soft, comfortable and true to size.

My wife absolutely loves these. She stays cold natured and absolutely loves to be warm. I've used these socks for everything from horse riding to Norse hiking, camping in Mongolia, chilling in front of the campfire, chilling in front of the house fireplace...These socks are so good that I just ordered another five pairs to keep up with their use. I just retired some Smartwool HIkers I've had now for more than fifteen years. Folks, that is what's called made to last. They only started to come apart at the top- the reason I'm sending them back is because these days I need these big chunky socks more than the crew hikers. I'm sold. Best socks I own.

These socks are like a giant, warm and cozy hug for your feet. Especially in Germany where they don't really believe in heat, these are a necessity for a colder weather. Extremely comfortable and enough cushion it's almost a shoe.
