These are the thickest, most well-cushioned wool socks I've found anywhere, and they have the greatest wool content of any socks I've found as well. My feet need the extra cushion and the high wool content because the balls of my feet have lost their natural cushioning as I've aged, and the balls of my feet become sore if I don't wear these socks when I'm walking for exercise. I have 4 pairs of these socks so I can wear them every day for my walk. #sweepstakes

Thicker than I expected for casual summer hikes

The size medium was recommended to me by the website but as it is unisex it fits a bit large. It's not too large that the heel is going up the back of my leg but it is loose. I am an 8.5 women's.

They're an investment in quality and comfort that will keep your feet happy for years.

These are some of the better modern day wool socks I have worn. They are thick and warm though still not as warm as vintage wool Socks used to be. It may be there is more elastic or plastic in this brand than there used to be. I look forward to seeing how they stand over time.

Really comfy and thick but it's already peeling after one wear. I'm hesitant about how long it will last.

They fill up enough space in my boots that my feet don't slip around in them anymore, but my feet are small and my calves are Not, so the socks slide down my legs throughout the day, which is annoying
