Well made, but much taller than I expected based on online description. I wear an 11 men's, bought a size large, and they come up to a few inches below my knee cap.

Warm but too loose and pill immediately. As a liner, I want these to be more form-fitting than they are. In the future I will need to size down.I also wish these were not crew length but about 2" shorter. My hiking socks on top of them provide plenty of padding but with these, my ankles just feel bulky. After a 2 week trip with a ton of walking/hiking, all 4 pairs I bought are pilled in the heels and I exepct the heels will be the first place to wear through.

I love the way the socks feel but the band around the top is too tight. My legs are not large but the socks leave a mark on my legs. Love them other than that!

I'm learning how to get my wool socks to work with my work shoes. I work outdoors and have wet conditions to manage nearly every day.

Probably perfectly fine for what they intended for. I was hoping to wear as dress socks and they're not exactly luxurious. Coarse knit, and kind of ugly. Will wear them anyway as no one ever inspects your socks. Will not buy again.

Daily use. Already starting to wear out. Feel like the fit is too big for what a medium liner sock should be.

As a smart wool sock addict, these miss the mark. They feel looser and don't stick to your skin like the cycling and ski socks do.

Great thin option if you don't want cushioning. Have been a big fan of Smartwool as long as I've enjoyed the outdoors. UNFORTUNATELY. These ripped/wore through at the toe box in less than a month of wear. Conveniently smartwool's online claim on their "satisfaction guarantee" isn't working. Frustrated. I've tried multiple times, and it's not worth it at this point. Will think twice about recommending smartwool in the future, as there are other outdoor brands with much better guarantees. Especially on socks.

I bought these to wear in dress shoes and bought the recommended size. I usually wear medium in Smartwool (shoe size 6.5-7). I've tried wearing small before but with the bit of shrinkage over time, they end up too small. So medium has always been perfect. But these are way too big. I've washed them twice and put them in the dryer to try to shrink them (which I never do for wool socks), and they're stil too big. I would recommend sizing down if you're on the lower end of the size range.

They fit well, but do not stay up on my ankle/calf and slide down all day unfortunately. Others I bought don't do this.

Unlike most Smartwool socks, these ones are a bit saggy.

The top pf the sock is so narrow it looks like it is for a young teen.
