I love these socks. Perfect for spring and fall, when I don't want really warm socks, but cotton keeps my feet too cool. My go-to sock from now on - as long as they keep them exactly as they are now...

I have at least 20 pairs of this identical black sock. It is all I wear with long pants, no matter the season. I like the zero cushion.

I use these liner socks every day and my last purchase was a gift to my friend who has cold feet. She loves this merino wool; it doesn't scratch!

I use these liners next to my skin and then the merino wool sock over them. Keeps my feet toasty in cold weather fishing. Love them

I have bought these natural colored socks for years. Not as a "liner", but as a pant sock to wear with my normal shoes. They are warmer than regular cotton socks.

Wear at office with dress shoes, in field while hunting, in tennis shoes walking. They are the only socks I have except with thick wool socks for cold weather. My feet sweat a lot and these keep my feet drier than any other sock I've tried. Hope they never stop making them or I'm in trouble. I always buy half a dozen pairs when I find them in stores.

These are great socks for both dress shoes and as a liner for hiking boots. They are my go-to sock for both but I make sure to wash them before I wear them with dress shoes! I've had multiple pairs and they wear well.

Liner under a thicker wool sock.

Got really bad blisters on my last hunting trip. Bought these socks to help avoid that, went hiking about a week later and no problems. Really like the socks, especially since I didn't get any additional blisters

I use these for daily wear. Fit in all shoes. Warm without bulk. A little thicker than a liner. Huge fan of washable wool.

Great weight, would like longer calf - knee high. Elastic at mid calf can be constricting. I'm wearing them scrunched down for that reason. Add colors, long knee high version, please.

These are the only socks I've worn over the past 6-7+ years, both for daily use and for extensive hikes, and I can't imagine wearing any other sock. They are perfect for hiking because they are thin and allow air to move in my shoes so my feet stay much cooler and drier than with other socks. I also love that I can take my shoes off while stopping for a snack and in just minutes the socks are dry and cool again. For some reason I only buy the white ones and one headache is that they become permanently stained with dirt after a few long hikes. That's my only complaint.

I wear this as a sock rather than liner. They are comfortable and wear well. It is a looser knit than I was expecting, but they are still comfortable.

I've always used liner socks for hiking and cross country skiing and the Smartwool ones last the longest!

These socks are great. I war them almost daily for work or snow blowing the drive. They keep my feet dry and warm.

These original liner crew socks (now Hike Classic Edition) are a must have in your sock drawer for all season hiking enthusiasts. Under thicker winter socks for improved breathability and extra insulation against cold spots. And even over Ininji toe socks in lighter winter areas like Arizona where the thinner fabric uppers of running shoes has cold spots too. These liners are in a league until themselves. Again, a must, must have!

Im a women's size 8 and bought size medium per size chart but wish I had gotten them in a small. The ankle rib is only at the top of sock and so they fall down a bit in my hiking boots. I find myself pulling them up too frequent but I love the fabric and would buy again in a size smaller
