I wear these socks everyday. I have plantar fasciitis and the extra cushion is great.

Perfect!

I first bought Smart Wool hiking socks for a trip to hike the Inca Trail back in 2004 and they were awesome! Ever since then I have used them for the majority of trips I take (I travel a lot) as well as for work socks. Generally, if I am wearing socks, they are Smart Wool socks. I highly recommend them.

Thicker than I expected for casual summer hikes

The size medium was recommended to me by the website but as it is unisex it fits a bit large. It's not too large that the heel is going up the back of my leg but it is loose. I am an 8.5 women's.

I absolutely LOVE these socks. I got my first pair probably 20 years ago for wearing with hiking boots when we would go hiking in CO. This pair I bought for wearing outside in the un-Godly cold we've had this Winter. They are so warm & cushy!

They're an investment in quality and comfort that will keep your feet happy for years.

These are some of the better modern day wool socks I have worn. They are thick and warm though still not as warm as vintage wool Socks used to be. It may be there is more elastic or plastic in this brand than there used to be. I look forward to seeing how they stand over time.

Worn as an "every day sock" warm and comfortable, long lasting.

I use these socks in place of slippers on cold floors. They feel amazing, like getting a massage as you walk, and of course they are warm! Highly recommend, I give as presents often.

Really comfy and thick but it's already peeling after one wear. I'm hesitant about how long it will last.

I use these for working outside and hiking. They are thicker than the others so when it hits the negative range temperature-wise, these are perfect!!!

Turbo cozy is all I can say. Buy a few pairs as I will be after my test purchase.

They fill up enough space in my boots that my feet don't slip around in them anymore, but my feet are small and my calves are Not, so the socks slide down my legs throughout the day, which is annoying

I have been using smartwool socks ever since they started in Steamboat Springs, CO. I wear the hike classic edition on a daily basis, even in Summer. Couldn't imagine life without!

Perfect for my Elk hunting trips paired with Lowa's Tibet Hi. Excellent cushion. I'm also planing to use them with my Patagonia's waders when fly fishing.

Sock used for everyday use and hiking. Aesthetic, comfortable and warm. Wears out somewhat fast. Previous packaging preferred: hiking, trekking, mountaineering.

I purchased both the full and extra cushion hike crew socks, which allows me to adjust to current weather conditions. Both socks are comfortably padded and warm. I do prefer the previous product packaging/labeling (hiking, trekking, mountaineering), as this is clearer and simpler. Socks can wear out a bit rapidly, but nevertheless Smartwool socks are my favorite and I recommend them.

I LOVE these socks!!!!! I bought them for the high quality I was already familiar with Smart Wool and how well their socks work with my sweat feet! I needed something with more cushion this time because I'm hiking the West Highland Way in Scotland next week and my plantar fasciitis flared. They have been the perfect with for added passing during my training hikes. You Are always getting a quality product with Smart Wool!

Great sock. Thick material and extra warm. My go to sock for the winter months. A must have for me. Sock stays in place and doesn't shift around.

These extra cushion socks are wonderful in my husbands work boots!

Good heavy sock. These should be warm.
