Got it on sale so the value is great, but at its regular price better options are available. This jacket best for spring/fall, nice smooth materials but needs more layer for cold -20c winter. If it had a chest pocket would've been awesome

if you don't like hoods on your jackets, this is a great option. Living in Alaska it works well for our climate, keeps me warm.

We live in MN and the winter can get pretty cold. The jacket works pretty well and I would recommend.

Could be warmer/higher density fill

This was a gift for my son to replace his stolen North Face jacket. It shipped sooner than expected, which was perfect during the polar vortex! Though not as puffy as I'd hoped, he's warm & happy with it, which is what matters.

It's nice, good looking, warm, this is 600 and would like more be like 700 styles

Very Light weight and Warm! And also a Very Comfortable Jacket

I just bought this coat with high expectations. The color is nice, the weight is ideal and it seems plenty warm. However, It is advertised as being highly wind resistant. Walking today straight into the wind was a big failure of this coat. Wind went straight through the zipper area. Should be another flap or stronger flap protecting that area. Was very cold. The hood also kept blowing off. Is there someway to secure that. I believe I will keep this but for the money and stated specifications was surprised and disappointed it was not what was advertised. Guess going forward I will need to go backward into the wind.

It is the best down jacket in this price range. The cons that i have mentioned below are are minor and can be ignored considering the pros it has. Pros: 1. Looks amazing. 2. Size is true to the measures mentioned. 3. Very warm and perfect for NYC winters. 4. Light weight. Cons: 1. Does not have an inside pocket. 2. Pockets have same material as rest of the jacket and hence do not keep the hands too warm. 3. Hood is a not too big.

Hydrenalite Down Hoodie is a classic! The coat remains a staple and is surprisingly warm. Holds up to cold temperatures and fits very well. I do wish Northface would upgrade this version with interior pockets, more color options and an updated exterior fabric.

It was for my son he loves it and getting a lot of use out of it.
