I've used this jacket for winter backpacking, winter climbing, Nordic skiing, and as a causal downtown jacket. It's stylish and functional. I've never had any cold spots and it retains warmth better than any other synthetic jacket I've used. The water repellency is decent, BUT it dries SUPER quick, and unlike down jackets still keeps you toasty when damp. I use all my gear hard/ around fire and sharp tools and I haven't scratched or ripped this jacket at all, there isn't even a stain on it. Great outer layer in dry conditions mid-30 degrees and above and great mid layer for anything below freezing. I might buy a second one with the hood just as a backup because I love this jacket so much. And the price is completely fair. Self-packs down to about 10 x 4 inches if you need that, not a bad camp pillow either! If you need a new mid layer or just a better version of what you already, have look no further!

I gave this jacket to my grandson for Christmas. He loves that it is not bulky. It's very warm yet light weight.

This is the warmest jacket ever, got it as a gift and my husband literally has worn it every time we head out the door. He had the same jacket a few years old, and I just decided he needed a new color and well it's just so rad!

Great light weight jacket that's is stylish, very warm and fights the wind. If you work out and have a muscular build, then make sure you size up because the slim fit will definitely restrict the movement in your shoulder and chest area. Even at 5'11" 220lbs I had to size up to a XXL but i'm EXTERMLY happy that I did because, now I have full range of motion as well as room for layering. Do yourself a favor and look past the price point and invest in a amazing jacket. You wont be disappointed.

I purchased this jacket as a gift for a friend. He's had this exact jacket for several years and wanted a new one to replace the one he's loved. What's great is it's lightweight, yet extremely warm. It's very comfortable to wear in cold Minnesota weather.

I purchased a puffer jacket for myself 3 years ago and it has been a life saver when I travel to colder areas. The technology is amazing, as it's very light but keeps me warm, and packs down small enough to fit into a purse or carry on. I recently purchased a similar jacket for my son as he moved to NY. He has worn it under heavier coats on the colder days and loves it. Also, it breathes well and you never feel overheated. Love this jacket!

This is a great TNF jacket! I already had this TNF Thermoball Jacket in Navy (purchased in 2018) and wanted the same jacket. Apparently, they've "changed the sizing", because my Navy jacket was a Large, and I had to switch to an X-Large in the Black.
