Excellent quality. Purchased this jacked which was on sale. It was a medium, which was one size too small. Went to the North Face store in Manhattan, and exchanged for one with a hoodie, and one size up. Absolutely love it.

Very nice jacket that is super warm and with very good insulation blocks the wind very well, it's not super puffy so could definitely be used as a mid layer should you need more warmth sizing is spot on

Every day use

I bought this for my husband over the holidays. He has a thermoball jacket for maybe 5 years ago and needed a refresh. They don't make the more vibrant blue but the muted blue works just fine. He wears it out to run errands and layers up on our walks for the winter.

Perfect gear for cold weather

Love this jacket. I was replacing one from about 8 yrs ago. I love the 2nd generation. FYI, all the jackets are now "slim cut" so I recommend sizing up. I went from XL in the old sizing and switched to a XXL and it fit perfect.

True to size. I bought this as a gift for my grandson. He wears a medium in everything but I ordered a large because some comments in reviews said it ran slim and my grandson usually wears a hoodie so I wanted to make sure he had enough room. Turns out a large was rather roomy and a medium would have been just fine. Roomy or not, he likes it so much he didn't want me to exchange it because he wanted to start wearing it immediately. He's only 15 so I guess he will have room to grow into it. He has other Northface jackets but he wanted one that one isn't big and puffy. I would definitely recommend.

Everyday wear Because of my long torsoI'm a female 5'10 185lbs I purchase this in a XL l. I love wearing hood jackets under my coats/jackets. I always go up a size.
