Light weight yet it keeps you really warm . Wore it for a hike and it is extremely comfortable and does not make you feel suffocated . Lovely color too . New favorite for spring and mild winters.

Love this jacket! It is soft and warm and the color is great ( I got it in the winter gardenia). I have it a 4 for style for a very minor reason, overall it looks and feels great. Very pleased with this purchase. Can’t wait for it to be cold again! ?

I was initially hesitant in ordering the Metropolis, but when I received it all my doubts were thrown off the Northface (pun intended). The coat is like wearing a fluffy, cozy pillow. Another perk is that this down filled coat doesn't leave you looking like a blob, but it in fact accentuates your feminine features as it has a nice elastic touch on the back. I'm not sure about you, but I am definitely a person who at times needs all of my coats to have a hood, but then there are times when I get annoyed by my coat having a hood; with this coat it's a win-win situation because the hood is removable :) Previous reviews stated that the hood may easily detach, but I can vouch that this is not the case as the buttons do lock in the hood pretty tightly. Overall, I would recommend this product for it's warmth, functionality, and shape.

I had a thermoball jacket which I used for last 3 years and it is a time for a change. So I was looking for something lightweight but warm. This is a perfect upgrade from thermoball. I would say this one is perfect for freezing temperature.

I really like color and feel so soft,but only two day I been wear I found a lot a lot feathers keep coming out,make me so crazy,don't want to wear it ,so sad.

I hunted down this jacket and couldn't wait to get in. It's such a great material and feel. I am 5'8 170lbs, size 10-12 and the large fit great. I typically layer so there was enough room and easy to move in. You won't regret it.

Light and warm.

This jacket was exactly what I was looking for. I'd been meaning to invest in a quality winter jacket, one that would last but wasn't necessarily "trendy." I am a short girl (5'0") and have a large chest and wide hips (aprox. 170lbs) so a boxier puffer is not flattering on me and I have a pretty hard time finding my proper size in most items. I took a chance and ordered a large, it fit just fine but I didn't have maximum motion or comfort. I returned and exchanged for an XL and it is perfect! The tapering at the waist is so flattering, the length is great on my shorter torso, yet the sleeves aren't too long. I also must say that I messed up my return by using the label included in the package, but then creating a different return on my account (thus having the wrong tracking number) so I had no way of knowing if it had actually been processed. I contacted customer support and they were incredibly helpful and patient. When my return was eventually received and processed and I went into my account to purchase the correct size, they added one of their "recycled beanies" to my cart with the charge removed, so now I have a great winter jacket and a cute red hat to match.

Great jacket for everyday wear, very flattering and warm. I love how it has some shape to the waist, especially good for hourglass or semi-hourglass figures. You will not look boxy wearing this. My only complaint is that the snaps on the hood come undone too easily. I might find a tailor to replace them with stronger ones.

Jacket look exactly like photo. True to size. It is uncomfortable without a long sleeve you can feel the feathers.

I love the feel of the jacket and the fact that it cinches in at the waist. It definitely shows off a feminine silhouette and makes my outfits 10 times better. The blue color is beautiful as well. The only downside is that the hood comes off very easily, and I find that I need to keep re-snapping it back on the coat every time I wear it.

I bought this jacket for my 12 yr old. Both of us love it! It fits cute, has a hood which is removable.

the blue is gorgeous. I haven't had a chance to wear it out, but I really love how soft it is.
