Customer Reviews New Balance Kids 680v6 Bungee (Little Kid/Big Kid)

The shoe narrows in the section where the large N is. My son felt it was too narrow, so we are returning. He prefers the wider width of the New Balance Fresh Foam.

This is a really nice & sleek looking shoe for my 5 year old. The only thing I didn’t like is the high strap on the shoe. My son wears and extra wide and has a high in step. This new balance strap is sitting right on his instep it’s just too high.

The fit was very tight across the arch of the foot.

My grandson has very wide feet. I don't know that any shoe we have seen in his size is truly XW. He complained about the shoes hurting his feet. Hopefully with some wear, they will fit better. They are possibly a better fit than any we've seen in the last six months or so.

Very comfortable shoe for my son. They lasted from November 2021 until about March 2022...the velcro closure strap falls apart and I had to superglue it multiple times over the past few month.

These are good kids shoes. My son likes wearing them and they’ve held up well. Just fyi though, the Velcro strap is high up making it more difficult to put on. The strap isn’t exceptionally long either so if your child has a high foot, the strap only goes half way. Not a deal breaker it’s just harder to get on. Definitely not for you if you’re looking to fit in an AFO.

These are wider than the Arishi bungee style which our kids love. We chose these because Arishi wasn’t available in bungee style in 4.5. This style is comfortable and easy on/off with the Velcro, but has a wider toe box and heel.

Shoes are very nice but the sole makes squawky noise in hard floors. Had to return them because the noise was too much

My son loves these shoes and they’re comfortable. The problem we’ve encountered after 3 purchases is that the Velcro strap starts to fall apart and separate after a month or so of everyday use. Quality could improve there but otherwise excellent shoe!

I ordered a size WIDE and received a regular width so I need to exchange shoe.

My 7yo complained because the back is very stiff and was digging into his ankle. We sent them back.

We had this same style previously in a different color. Ordered the same size and width (wide) as before. These are narrower and shorter! Weird. Had to return. The previous shoes lasted quite a while and were very comfortable. The kid needs a super wide shoe for his super wide foot. The previous pair accommodated this. This pair did not. Couldn't get his foot in.

Not as wide as expected but it was able to slide in with overall ease.

Quite narrow - felt tight.

I am really disappointed - less than a week of wear and the velcro strap is coming unstitched. I expected more for a $45 shoes. I will be returning.

The arches hurt my son’s feet after a few hours of wear. They are going back.

Wore out within months! The mesh has ripped off the leather parts by his little toe

Shoes don't have real laces.

After less than one month of wear, the shoes are falling apart. Not only did the velcro pull apart from the strap (see picture), the inside lining is pulling apart from the shoe. I would not waste your money on these shoes. Extremely disappointed.

NOt the same quality as other new balance shoes we bought in the past. The material is very thin and the middle part doesn’t stay in the middle. It keeps going to the right causing discomfort and my child doesn’t want to wear it.

I've gotten many sizes of this shoe over 4 years. This one fell apart within a couple of monts

Not good quality, or we received a defective pair. My son wore them three times and they started getting holes in them. He also had a hard time getting them on by himself and complained that they felt too tight on the sides.
