I really like this style of shoe and especially the New Balance brand. These were bought for my son who has cerebral palsy. He usually had pattern wear on the heels of the shoes. But these are more durable than most. This is the second pair we bought of this style just in a different color this time.

Little man put them on and said he could jump higher & run faster. Solid endorsement!

It was so nice to see our son smile because shoes are actually comfortable on him! He said they felt like pillows! (Ordered Bungee 680v6 wide, extra wide sizes 1.5 and 2 shoe.) In past Nikes ran insanely narrow on him and we had to size up which ended up in the wrong sized shoes so width could fit! We ordered this shoe and quickly ordered one more once size was determined. The toe is rounded lending itself to a wider foot with room to grow. The shoe fabric itself has some give which also lends to some room to grow. I imagine the fabric may not hold up as long as leather but I will take that to finally have a comfortable shoe. Tongue is a bit hard to get up by himself w/o help (6 years old) but he should be able to in time. I bought the wide and extra wide. 2 Extra wide was easier for him to get on (in step in heel area) and that is how we decided!! Both wide and extra wide had a long enough velcro strap… Some people here said the strap ran small but maybe they should have sized up on the width? Anyway, we didn’t have this prob on the extra wide width size 2! Love how these have no tie. Just buy a bunch of sizes/ widths and return. So glad I did that!! Knowing he would want to immediately wear any shoe regardless of fit or not because it is new I bought a bunch of different sizes and widths at the same time. I just wish New Balance had more color options. Way better then Nike since not all widths are not the same which New Balance understands. Super easy return/exchange w Zappos.

Hands down the best EXTRA WIDE shoe I have found! They’re flexible yet have good support. The tongue/foot area opens wide which allows kids to easily put their own shoes on! And the Velcro strap accommodates the wideness so I have no concerns of it coming undone. I already bought the next size up! Definitely recommend this shoe!

First pair of shoes I ordered for my great grandson were too narrow so I pkgd them up & UPS picked them up at our house next day (so convenient) & I ordered same shoes in Wide & they arrived within a few days and fit perfect......Zappos makes it so convenient to buy shoes especially if you don't live near stores.

My son really likes the new balance shoes. This is his 4th pair of this style. My son has extra wide feet, but these will hold up for about 9month-1 year before his toe starts to peek through the fabric. At that time, it is time to upgrade to the next size up.

My son loves red and has a few red pieces in his closet. New Balance are known for comfort and the price was right. He loved them straight out the box. With a growing child, I look for deals and this was a deal worth taking!

It's so hard to find extra wide shoes that still have velcro. I was so happy to find these that I ordered them twice and had to return a pair!!

These are my new go to for my son with special needs! I love that they have velcro closure in bigger styles for kids like mine who are unable to tie shoes. I also love that he is able to find something fashionable that he likes and can be independent with. They are really durable too and my son is HARD on shoes.

My 7yo loves these. After a few months, starting to see some wear on them, mostly at the sides where the velcro is.

I have been having a hard time finding shoes wide enough for my grandson. Initially he said they hurt but after wearing/walking around in them for a little bit, he has no complaints.
