I wore my new coat for the first time today. It is very warm! Also very comfortable and stylish. I am 5-2, 170 pounds. I bought the large, it's just slightly big on me, but I think a medium would have been too tight.

Love this jacket

This coat is so comfortably warm but not bulky. The belted waist makes it fashionable and different than the men's version. I am 5'9 and it fits me perfectly.

This jacket is everything I've been looking for and more. Versatile, light weight, toasty warm and high fashion. Wore it around the Winter Carnival at Lake Placid below zero temps and didn't flinch at the cold. I usually size up to XL for more room for bulky sweaters, but purchased the L instead. I actually could have sized down to a M but I am still very pleased. The belt gives it a more tailored and feminine feel, and I felt like Belle of the Ball walking around a snow village. I buy for longevity and this coat will last me many, many years. I love you, The North Face!

I love this Parka! I bought it for a trip to Chicago in January. I was warm with zero complaints. It's also very lightweight. The color is as pictured.

This coat is gorgeous, I've been wanting a long puffy coat for quite a long time and decided to spoil myself with it! I am 5"7 weight 170 and purchased the medium however I ended up returning for a large because I felt restricted on my hip area. I love the belt because it gives me shape, it is a puffy coat so that helps. The pockets are extremely deep and helpful , I've had coats with pockets so little everythinggg falls when trying to put things in the pocket , I will mention I need to get used to the inside pocket on the right side , I am used to pockets on the left inside all my NF coats. Also tested this in the rain and it's amazingggg , you will not look like a wet dog , the rain seems invisible with this coat!!!

perfect, perfect, perfect!!! Not heavy but it has been -5 here for the last few days & I can go outide with the dogs and not even get cold!!! Best coat everm&n feels so lightweight I can even throw it in the washer. Best purchase

So I was out in the nor'easter and by the time I got back in my house I was sweating. Has a short sleeve shirt and a thin sweater under the coat . It is definitely warm

I love this parka. It's super warm and flattering. I don't know why I didn't invest in a longer, more insulated coat much sooner in life. It is now more bearable leaving the house in the frigid sub-zero temps! This jacket does run large as others have mentioned. I stuck to my normal size because I wanted to fit sweaters/layers underneath my coat comfortably. I probably could have sized down and still have been able to layer, but I don't mind the extra room in the coat. Makes it much easier to zip up too. This was my first North Face purchase. Would definitely buy again.

Very happy with this purchase. Most importantly, a super warm coat for this bitterly cold winter. Very well constructed, heavily insulated with 700 down fill. And a beautiful coat to boot. Even the lining has a subtle snow leopard pattern. The price is outstanding for such a warm, beautiful well made coat.

I absolutely love this jacket. It's so stylish and warm. I wear it without the belt. Make sure to size down as it does run big. I am 5'5 127lbs. I always wear a medium in NF jackets but I had to exchange this one for a small. I definitely recommend this jacket.

Absolutely love this jacket! I get compliments every day. It does run large- I'm a small and I bought a size small and it could fit two, thick wool sweaters beneath. No matter, it is beautiful and comfortable.

I absolutely love my MONTEREY BLUE parka!! This coat is so warm yet so light and fluffy. Perfect for those cold nights and mornings walking my dog, or just wearing in general in the cold! I am 5'7 weight is 170 and it hits right below my knees, I actually listened to reviews and sized down to a medium but exchanged for a Large because I felt restricted from my 43 inch hips, however my waist is 29" and Breast measurements are 34C so it fit perfect on my upper body just not the hips!! I will also mention the sleeves aren't as long as the other Northface Coats I own! Nonetheless the coat is gorgeousss and no regrets thus far

I'm 5'6, 130lbs and usually go for L for a looser fit - had to return and reorder an M (which is good but still loose), definitely size one size down for your regular fit! Other than that, perfect coat!! :)

Beautiful jacket! You can wear it with or without the belt. This jacket does a great job of keeping me toasty warm in low degrees and snowing. Size down. I always purchase my jackets here in medium, I'm 5"5 and 127 lbs. I needed a small in this jacket & I still gave room underneath for sweaters.

I'm 5'3 143lbs, still needed the xsmall, I'm usually a medium but that was huge. Really beautiful and lightweight.

Nice coat..got for my girlfriend for christmas..she loves it..she wears it everyday..its sharp looking and she thinks it's very warm and comfortable. I think she wants another 1 in a different color
