Warm and nice. Can't really use the hood though because it's too tight on the neck to pull up.

I live in Colorado and it can be bitter cold. It is comfy and lovely. I'm 5'6' 195lb and the XL fits me great. Plenty of room for layers underneath and the belt cinches in the waist so I feel like a stylish black marshmallow. LOVE IT! Very light, delightfully puffy, and easy to move in.

I LOVE my new North Face Women's Nuptse Belted Long Parka! It's lightweight yet warm. It's also roomy enough that I can either wear a bulky sweater underneath if I have on a short sleeve blouse or dress, or if I am wearing a blazer. So happy with my purchase!

Before from California, down jackets are not a thing. So when I moved to the east coast, I knew I had to get one but didn't want to compromise style or price. I initially ordered an XL because I was told that I would need to go up but it was HUGE. It is definitely true to size UNLESS you are a bit curvy. If you are and in between two sizes go up. I am either a M/L and I got a L which is perfect for me so I can layer. This thing is so warm and comfortable. I am good to go and the belt makes it look so chic.

I am a home care nurse and this coat is very versatile. Its lightweight enough when you are getting in and out of your car multiple times In a day. It's very warm to stand the cold while waiting for the door to be open. It's rain repellant and with the hood no more.lost umbrellas. On top of everything else it's very stylish!!!

Was great

A lot of the reviews said the coat runs big. I agree. It does, but not to the point where it's drowning you. I got medium, my usual size. There's ample room inside to layer up without looking sloppy. The only think I did notice is that the pockets are kind of low. I'm 5-4, and my arms don't reach that far down. The 700 down insulation kept me warm on a frigid NY winter day. I also wore it while it was snowing out and did not feel cold at all. I love that the hood is insulated as well so it keeps my head warm. The belt is also handy because it gives you some shape that most puffers do not give. The price is expensive. I got it during the Black Friday sale, and even then, I still paid over 300. But I intend to use this for the indefinite future so I think it's a good investment.

This wild ginger color is fabulous. I've gotten compliments on it this coat is warm and insulated but it feels light, not heavy or stiff. The hood is a key feature as when the jacket is fully zipped your entire neck, head and face is protected from any wind/chill.

Very warm. Belt helps to give form. Definitely size down for best fit.

Exceptional warmth for dog walking in Chicago winters. I'm 5'3 138lbs. Would usually be a medium, but went down to a small with room to spare. The belt serves no purpose except a fashion statement.

Warm and light, Comfortable to wear

I wear this daily to walk to work, 4 miles a day on the coldest days and never feel cold. Love this coat! It runs a tad big but not so big that it looks or feels bad.
